This is a stunning property from a design perspective. Very well executed. Unfortunately, it not only seems that ZERO emphasis has been placed on customer service, but the staff has no idea what their roll is. It was almost like purchasing a stylish expensive watch, only to find it had a $20 movement inside.....Oh wait a minute.....that describes the Shinola watch. Add me to the list of customers who can't tell SH#T from Shinola!

Everything about the hotel is amazing from the Artwork to the books in the halls and the rooms the bars the alley way the luxury touches to everything Shinola did not miss except the room's don't have microwaves but if you call down they'll bring one up for you !

Staff is so helpful and kind, valet too! I forgot my phone in my car and didn’t even realize it, and they hand delivered it to me. The showers in the rooms are amazing and I would stay here again just for those honestly. Also the gummy bears in the minibar and incredible.Walkability: Close to everything downtown! Easy to have food delivered if necessary and a mile or less away from a bunch of restaurants and stores.

This place was a 10 out of 10! The rooms were beautiful with a gorgeous Mad Men’s 60’s vibe. The restaurant and bar were amazing and would highly recommend staying here!

This place is disgustingly dirty. Sperm stains on every couch. Blood on the chair. Hair all over the bed. We went from one room to the other and it just seemed to get worse.

I've never been more disappointed in a hotel experience. The shower in my room didn't work, and it took 4 phone calls to the front desk before I was moved to a new room. The issue was initially reported around 4:00 p.m. and wasn't addressed until almost midnight. My sister-in-law had hosted her baby shower in the event space, so I wanted to pop in and show my partner the space before dinner. The stairway was not roped off, so we took the stairs up. We quickly realized there was an event taking place and turned to leave when the Shinola event coordinator very loudly and rudely confronted us in front of people in the hallway to say there was a private event down the hall. She couldn't have been more condescending or made us feel less welcome. She then began laughing at us as we walked away. I will never stay here or host an event at this hotel again nor will I recommend it to family or friends for future events.

Such a beautiful hotel! The architecture is stunning. The service is excellent. The valet staff is top notch, best around. Can't say enough about that service! Shout out to those guys! The food (San Morello) is delicious. Beds are clean and very comfy. Very convenient location. Gave us a 12:30pm late checkout. Not cheap, but worth it!
