The staff is great, the kids are well taken care of, the food is good, the center is spotless at all times. My children left this center knowledgeable and was on the honor roll there first years in elementary. I wouldn't trust any other facility to watch my kids.”

“We have been extremely happy with Bright Horizons. Our son has moved through the infant, transition, toddler, and now young preschool rooms, and we have found all of the teachers to be supportive, engaged, and caring. The admin is very responsive and helpful. The location/drop-off/pick-up is also very convenient - it's right off the Lodge and has a dedicated parking lot, which is hard to find in Detroit! Love the pics and descriptions they post on the app too.”

“Great school. My son has been there since kindergarten and he's now going to the 4th. All of his teachers treated him and the other students like their own. We had 1 bad year but that was mainly because of the terrible assistant principal. Since the school changed assistant principals, the school has been great! The only reason my son leaving is because we moved but I'll miss him going there.”

“I have the honor to teach kindergarten at Carleton. This is my second year there and I am overwhelmed by the love and support of the staff, administrators, families and children. Everyone comes together to help one another. It is a Leader in Me School and the atmosphere is different from anything I've ever experienced in my 18+ years with DPSCD. Students get to learn academics and life skills beyond the classroom. We offer all kinds of opportunities for students to learn sports, arts and crafts, dance, computer homework help, soccer...all after school. The parents have been actively running the PTA organization and have there own room where parents can get the support they need. Teachers collaborate so that children are getting the best education. It's been a wonderful place to work!”

“Very hardworking and caring.The principal Mrs. Haque, is very concerned and physically involved with the academic progress of the children as much as she is in the school itself. If any parent comes with any type of issue she is there to solve the problem not just listen through one ear and out the other she really does care and listen I also find this these attributes in many of the teachers although I have met all of them yet they seem to be very great teachers and they really want to do their job well they want these children to succeed and that's exactly what each DPS school means this is overall the best DPS school the best Michigan school I have seen.”

“This school was an *experience* for me. I’m happy that I attended here even if it was only for two years. I have so many funny stories I can tell from my years here but I won’t waste anyones time. But if there is one thing I will say it’s about a teacher. Ms.Lewis.. If anyone ever had a problem or needed help she would swoop in and help them ASAP. If I was ever struggling in class she would come over and assist me in any way she could. She always told the class funny stories to get us in the mood of learning and make us laugh, like her “nacho cheese” story. I can’t wait to go back up there and see her and the school again!”
