They threw me out because I had a cellphone. Ahhhhh hello, I'm deaf, I can't hear on their house phones. But they'll allow a guy to have a dog and he ain't even blind, he says it's because the dog is there for emotional support. Get the hell out, I'm deaf but can't have a phone to text people I know? Lawsuit.

Prices are ridiculous!! Crap from the dollar store is $1.99!! They have done away with anything for .99. They want 6.99 for a used generic t-shirt!! They take anything good and pull it for online where you have to pay shipping. ?

Went into this place court ordered at a young age 20 years old, did the program about 3 times and i truly believe this place saved my life, met a lot of great people through this place. You will work 40 hours and you will give them your food stamps, but for what you get in return is more than worth it. I highly recommend anybody that is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction to go there if you really want to change your life.

The last two times I’ve visited the Salvation Army in Washington the lady at the cash register is rude and unfriendly. I go on teacher discount day and when I showed her my teacher badge, she was like what do you do there? Do you have an insurance card through school, which I showed her also. Which in my opinion is against the law. Why does she feel the need to question me and pretty call me liar! I’ve worked for the schools for 26 years and I want an answer.

Salvation Army has become a joke. When I start finding DOLLAR TREE items for $3-5 that’s when you know corporate greed has taken over from what was once an organization to help others.

I have supported Salvation Army for many years with cash donations, donated good & purchases from their thrift store. But John at the Clarkston store refused to take my donations because I got out of my car to show him which items in my trunk were to be donated. Several items were not to be donated. I had waited in line for 30 minutes to donate. I’m sure I can find some other agency to accept my donations.
