Great store!!! Located at Northeast Woodward and 7 Mile Rd., In a refurbished space that classes up the corner!! Organic, and natural oils, teas, food products, spiritual accessories, and stylish apparel, are just a few of the items to be found. Prices are quite reasonable, too!! Check their website often for year round events promoting financial and physical wellness. Most are free or very low cost. In the spirit of community growing community, pop up vendors are are a constant feature, too!!Shop for yourself or grab a few gift cards to add to that birthday or holiday gift!

My first visit to this place was enlightening. The staff was very informative on the products I was looking for and added more insight to other items that peaked my interest. Things that I had been searching for online was right at my finger tips and more. The 1st item that caught my eye was The Herbalism at home book with 125 recipes for every day health which I bought as well as other items. I will be returning soon not just because of the warm welcoming environment, but because of the like minded staff that was willing to educate and grow with their customers. Can't wait to see this place achieve all it's goals within this community and nationwide. Great job gentleman!

You will definitely want to stop in to say hello to the two guys that run this shop. They are so full of life and pride for the surrounding area. Most items they have are from local vendors, and they also have event space you can rent to host local events.

P+P is a great business showcasing goods that speak to the heart of Detroit. Community, health, family... That's Pillar + Pride. My first visit was to pick up some coffee from Bean Brothers, a michigan-based brand that I had found out was being carried in person by Pillar and Pride. I could just drop in and grab some when I was running low. Checking out their website ahead of time, I was excited to see the goods that they carried and showcased. Wellness is a theme of their product offerings, with a variety of supplements and items to help atune yourself to a feeling of balance. But there's also a lot of good food. :) Tyree offered me a sample of some barbecue sauce from Williams Food Company, another local brand. It was delicious, and a bottle of it went home with me. (If you go by it's the five spice sauce, which is really different from any sort of barbecue sauce off the shelf. It has a little kick, and it's a little sweet. Go in and try some.) It's also worth mentioning that in the back corner there are a variety of books the touch on topics that speak to thriving in your life, children's books where kids of color can see themselves represented in the pages, and titles looking at improving your health. Lots of local authors are represented here too. It's an awesome variety. P+P also has a great presence on social media, and hosts events in their space, to try and further promote the ideas are at the core of their mission. Actually I first became aware of them because they were hosting discussions on Instagram Live about COVID and Detroit's concerns and discussions around a vaccine that would hopefully protect them. It was honest and frank conversation that gave me a lot of perspective that I wouldn't have had otherwise. At the heart of Pillar and Pride is the family that runs it. You can tell they care about Detroit so much. You can tell that they care about the people they serve. And if that's not a reason to go check them out, I don't know what is. :) Support black owned businesses. Support small businesses. Support Detroit.

Stopped in today just to see what was new and to see their newest artist's work. It's very unique and eclectic. Grabbed some Moor Herbs throat spray, Pau D'Arco Bark for my allergies and some P&P alkaline water to go; and Faust Haus coffee beans for myself and a bag for my brother. Always great to see Tyree and Randi, if you haven't stopped in yet please do!

I love this store and the owners are awesome! The energy here is absolutely amazing! I feel like they are my family....lol...we’re definitely cousins now! They have so many great QUALITY brands! You can get your Seamoss, herbs, raw juices, meal preps, snacks, Natural Toothpaste, natural deodorant, books....everything you need for health and wellness...and the best part about it is that you will find things there that you can’t find elsewhere! I’m so grateful they have made Detroit their home for Pillar and Pride!

I had my first visit to Pillar and Pride today and it was nothing less than amazing. They have a wide range of products that I use and other products I'm excited to learn more about. The energy in the atmosphere was inspiring and I left out better than who I was when I entered. I'll be back much sooner than later. I highly recommend Pillar and Pride.
