I joined Michigan credit Union in February 2023 because I wanted to do mortgage with the company and that was the worst mistake I ever made because they are unprofessional and not helpful they are very rude and inconsiderate and I would never do business with them again and I will be closing my account.

Michigan first doesnt know what theyre doing. The app reads entirely different than what your transaction history is and they charge you for transferring money which is new because long as you had the money it would typically just get transferred. Note having no money is a different topic. Consider banking elsewhere.

Their service SUCKS! Went into sSthfld branch to add authorize user, waited 30 mins before leaving because only 1of what appeared to be 6 or 7 people before me got called. Was told by guy at the desk I could do this on the phone. Called to do so (3 times!) My 2nd call (of the 3 calls I made) I spoke to 4 different reps from 'card' Services & 'member' services before deciding to hang while waiting on a fifth rep- 1hr39mins phone call. My 3rd call-the next day- spoke to card services, before he rushed to transfer me again, I explained what happened, he assured 'member' service could help me, said he'd wait on phone with me, after 3mins blindly dropped me in a que where I was caller 24, then 14, then 8, then 8, then 8 then DISCONNECTED after 41minutes!! PEOPLE, LETS DEMAND BETTER SERVICE!!

Staff are inconsiderate, lazy liars. They refuse to service me for notary services which is free for members. Since the pandemic the Secretary of State is allowing appointments only months in advance, the bank rep claimed they cannot service me because I was not able to renew my ID which had just recently expired. The bank rep lied saying it's their policy because you can go early in the morning to the Secretary of State which is two lies. When I came in another time, the lady who would do the notary decided to take her lunch break without notifying anyone else to service me. I have been to this bank for the past 4 years and I have never had good service. They refuse to help me with disputes for my account, always coming up with some excuse. They are rude and just don't care. The management is no help either, they are just as lazy and carefree. Don't go to this branch.
