We recently added another four legged family member to our household, that we adopted through one of MACS adoption events. The adoption process is affordable and not a lot of paperwork. Upon arriving we met Stephanie, told her a bit of our household background and what we were looking for. Stephanie was determined help us choose a dog that would be a good match for our current dog, Toby who was also present to choose a new friend. Stephanie was patient with us while meeting animals and trying to make a decision, she was also very helpful with all our concerns and questions. She had a calm no pressure kind of approach which I was very impressed by. Toby now has a new friend! A vey big thanks to MACS and people like Stephanie that are determined to find all animals a loving home. Thank you MACS for helping us find our perfect new family member.

I have fostered kittens through this organization and specifically Stephanie, and find them to be passionate about rescue and care or animals, well-organized, and responsive. I’m thankful for their rescue efforts!

My experience with Michigan anti-cruelty society has been awesome. What a amazing place doing great things. Stephanie Noble who is the foster coordinator is the BEST. She is super knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and caring.
She got me set up as a kitten foster and now I have two little newborn kittens that I am bottle feeding. It is so rewarding and fulfilling to care for these kittens. Also Michigan anti-cruelty has been extremely friendly and helpful along the way with any of my questions. I highly recommend them.

I recently adopted a new family member and I could not be more happy. I am also fully impressed with Michigan Anti Cruelty! I filled out my application online. I received a call later that afternoon and was approved. Next morning I went to the shelter to pick the little girl up. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming especially Frank and Kelly! Frank was the dogs foster parent (also an employee) and he went over every detail that he noticed in his home. Kelly was so friendly and patient going over the adoption process. As someone who spent years in animal welfare, I highly recommend this organization and Frank and Kelly!

For the 1st time in my cat ownership life, I have 2 cats who I know their true birthdate... thanks to MACS who did an emergency C-section on a cat who was brought to them found on the streets on a cold winter's night. I have had them for 3 years now, and plan to have them for many more years to come. They are the joy of my life and bring so much entertainment to mg home. Thank you MACS!

All staff personnel were friendly and helpful. We had a sick feral cat and they took it in - when no one else would. Kel assisted us via phone on how to trap it and once we arrived - took it right in so the cat would not have to stay in the trap any longer. We called many places and this was the only agency to assist us. Thank you so much!

My dog passed away recently from heart failure,&I informed the Mac Clinic of his passing,because he was a patient.They were so kind & compassionate to me,because I want to adopt another dog from their facility.Thank you ,you are Simply the Best!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

MAC what does it stand for Michigan ant-cruelty Society wow let me tell you about this facility They are a joke. I tried to adopt a dog and every time I called they lied and said she had been adopted out and then I called back again They said that she was in a foster home, I called back again and sad let’s get her out of that foster home into my home and they said the foster people decided to adopt her and I said OK and then they said to me your voice
sounds like you are animal abuser I said you can tell by my voice that I am an animal abuser, I said You guys are idiots I’ve had four cats (one cat lived to be 21) and had three dogs in my lifetime and you can tell by my voice that I’m an animal abuser you guys are absolute idiots! this place I would not recommend they don’t take care of their animals they don’t care if they adopt them out of the shelter they would rather have them sit in cages and die of old age.I do not recommend this facility even to send for rescues
