This Meijers is its usual good content standard. However i feel sad about the increased number of self checkout stations. Maybe because im older i dont do well with them (dont want to learn it) and dont feel its socially responsible to take this employment source from people

They have a new cart system that locks up the cart as you go out the door.mine stopped.they went threw my $21 purchase.all was good so unlocked cart.it locked again and I just threw the cart to the side.prices high(8. 59 for hellman's mayo).been going there all the time but no more.they just lost me with that .

They are everywhere, nice collection of clothing Men, Women and Children. Nice crafting selection, fresh fruits and vegetables. Pleasant employees that are willing to help you instead of hiding from you.

This location is cheating the customer with the availability that other Meijer stores enjoy, such as Salad bar, fresh sushi bar, barbers, shoe shine and shoe repair services. Deli and prepared meals. Limited selections on many items. Lacking many amenities that other stores offer.

Ghetto Gas StationPumps stay broken for months at a time.Receipt printers rarely work. Someone can't be bothered to refill paper.Area is never cleaned and full of litter

Unfortunately there's only one way in and one way out. Built similarly to the Meijers on 8 mile and Woodward. Not bright at all in the store like walking into a shoe box. Most of the workers here are friendly but remember this is a rather small store.

The BATHROOMS AT THIS meijers-on-grandriver is atrocious neverrrrrrrr CLEAN, ALWAYS OUT OF ORDER AND DONT GOT NO TISSUE BUT THERE IS A ISLE WITH CLEANING SUPPLIES/TISSUES IF U DIDN'T NOTICE. JUST NEEDS 1/2 RESTROOM ATTENDANT AND IT WILL BE TOP TIER. I MEAN THE STORE IS ALWAYS WAXED AND SETUP NICELY BUT THEM BATHROOMS YALL COME ON NA.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. If you are supposed to close at a certain time, then that is the time you should close. Considering this is the only grocery store that stays open late in the area, closing early is rather unacceptable.If arrive before closing hours and am not allowed in... then customer is rather despicable.Do better.

This is a decent Meijer, considering it's in Detroit and a smaller version of what you'd find in the suburbs. They have most of the basic goods with one big difference they have a better liquor section than most. You can even find Detroit made specialty liqours like valentined vodka if you're lucky and it's not sold out.

Cant ever get help at the customer service counter. And they do flash food but dont come to help. Which means your waiting for 30 min to an jour to get what you have already paid for. So dont pre order anything. You may not get it!!!

Not the best but definitely not the worst location. They have A LOT of self scan now and you may be waiting a bit if you end up needing help but these have made wait time drastically less
