Also the banana pudding by whip it up Keith (?) they have in the cooler is friggin crack. Super nice folks behind the counter and even the security guard is friendly. This place just rocks”

16215 Livernois, Detroit“Very nice selection of wines for a "hood" store - no kidding - I was quite surprised as I cook with a variety of wines - from seafood to chicken, beef and lamb ?”
“Best wine shop not only in Eastern Market, not only in metro Detroit, not only in southeast Michigan, but all around! Cost Plus Wine Shoppe is a family run business that has been around for decades. It started out with the amazing, kind, sweet and knowledgeable Tim McCarthy who spent all his time and energy in the business to make sure that it was the best it could be. No matter who you were, if you stepped foot in Cost Plus and had a conversation with Tim you immediately became a family friend. His son Dan McCarthy was always there by his side working his bum off everyday making sure the company was the best it could be. When Tim retired, Dan took over his dad's reign and it still continues to be the best wine shop in the area. With the help of investor friends they bought and rehabbed the second and third floor which are now being used for wine tasting and events. If you're interested just contact one of the workers at the wine shop or call them. Tim's wife Sally and Dan's wife Kim absolutely cannot be left out when talking about the success of the wine shop because they have put so much into that business and work so hard to help make it what it is today. Anytime you go in there you'll most likely see Dan's wife Kim running around, working her bum off, helping someone or doing something to help make the business better. I used to work there sometimes when I was younger and for their catering business and those still are some of my best memories. Cost Plus is a true Eastern Market legend.”
“I love this store the customer service is A1 and the energy never amaze me if y’all on 7 mile stop here good people here trust me I know I come here all the time”
“Liquor Stores Every where should be ran by Individuals who are able to have understanding with their consumer. The men here have an excellent rapport with the community. A good place to run in and purchase your spirits of choice without any loitering.”
“Love this store the girlie behind the counter is so cute... they have hot food now! And it's owned by the culture so now we don't have to worry about other people following us around the store when you're looking for chips and pop. And the best part is they are open til 2 am located right off Gratiot not far from downtown very well lit parking and they have a ATM.”
“Have never had a problem here since I moved a mile away 5 months ago. Some of the prices are a little high but for a store that's open during every hour Michigan allows you to sell liquor; it's not bad, the selection is huge and the employees are super nice. Just expect to pay like from 30 cents to a little over a dollar more on most items.”

1848 Springwells St, Detroit“Great local liquor store with even better customer service! They have everything you need and exotic snacks too. Brandon always goes out his way for his customers!”
“Best liquor store in the area! Best Selection, Best deals, Best staff. Most of the liquor stores on Woodward close at 10, or 12 on weekends. I love the fact that Kenwood opens early at 7am, and closes late at 2am every day of the week. The staff is always friendly and speak whenever you’re shopping. They have a nice selection of discounted liquor, food and general items, beer and wine and what they don’t have the owner is always happy to order it for you. They also have bottle return, which is nice because a lot of the liquor stores in the area charge a deposit but don’t accept their own bottles back. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and have no complaints.”

“Ever since I was a little zatut, my grandpapa has been taking me to Basil’s for scratch off’s & giblits. It has been said, that the fastest lottery machine operator in the tri-county region hones his skills at this location. Over the years, the city may have changed but Basil’s has always stayed the same. A business that has stayed true to their Core City roots for over 45 years, a staple in the community. The largest selection of Liqour on the Westside of Detroit. A Bourbon, Whiskey & Tequila connoisseur’s go-to spot & for those of you who are looking for Craft beer, their staff is keen to the newest additions for each season. If you’re looking for a nice wine to compliment your dinner or a bottle of champagne to celebrate your night, Basil’s Bottle Shop will get your right. Personally, I marvel at the organizational mastery of their candy selection.”
“This place has a great liquor selection and a good variety of hot, fresh food during lunch hours. But...I took cash out of the ATM and I was charged $8.50. So Don't use the ATM good besides that”

7104 Waldo St, Detroit“Very genuine and caring, this store being in the neighborhood for decades brings so much to the community. Very supportive, skilled, and well managed. The owner is comprehensive towards his clients. If you're a consistent client you'll notice how great of a business runs at Dinos. They treat everybody equally on point as you treat them. So don't be rude nor bring negativity to the 48210. Peace”
“Agree with prior reviews. Solid inventory of liquor in the trade winds. Decent wine collection and tons of party snacks. Service was good. Parking lot is a train wreck watch your footing.”
“You did not find a lot of store with this type of selection of liquor they have in the city, bourbon tequila specially they order any type of liquor, even if they do not have it”
“The fried chicken is on point. I had to go back the next day the chicken was seasoned good , crunchy. When I went back the next day to buy chicken I also order a chicken dinner I didn't care to much for the Mac and cheese and the Broccoli and cheese no seasoning could've been better. But the crunchy chicken was A -1 .”

The owners and the employees are just normal people doing their job and are alittle bit friendly people. You can easily sit down with some of them and open a can of root beer and chill with them.”
“Good hot food store has everything u need just they don't really focus on the customer they be busy talking they language amongst each other it crazy it hit different when u call up there in they say they got this in that hot in ready but when u pull up as soon as u get off the phone with them they don't have any of the stuff they said they had must just be me but out of all I ate in it was good”

“Nice convenient store in Detroit, located on the City's westside. You can purchase tabacoo, beer, wine, or your choice of spirit (liquor) and play the lottery. The store is also known for its delicious food. They have a menu consisting of pizza, chicken, potato wedges, garlic bread, and pop. The food line sometimes may crowd the store but it moves fast and its just that delicious. The employees are tge most friendly and attentive people you'll ever meet. I go here on a regular!”
