I have been getting my taxes filed at this location for several years now. For the year of 2017, I was scammed. The IRS is auditing my family now and instead of getting back the amount I know I am due, IRS are instead trying to charge me for $2,000 (It's going to be an up-hill battle to reverse the damage Liberty Tax has done). So not only did I not get back any of the money I put into taxes through my hard-work, I am not able to receive any helpful credits for which I am due. When the audit first began I came to this office for help as I did pay $300 for such services. When my tax preparer was presented with the paperwork she was confused and could not figure out what the IRS needed. She lazily told me to call the IRS phone number listed on the paper. Guess what that line told me?: Go to my tax preparer. The IRS sends dual-copies of all information so that you may pass them onto your tax preparer. I have not been able to get a dime out of her, yet somehow they swindled me out of $300. It's the end of May and I have nothing, have heard nothing from Liberty Tax, and never even got a call reguarding my case at any point. And just a forwarning too, this isn't the only horrible location. DO NOT GO TO LIBERTY TAX, EDUCATE YOURSELVES MY FRIENDS!!!

Great store, great staff! Other tax places promise huge refunds that never come through, Liberty Tax on 8 mile and Hayes ain't playin those games. Straight forward business and knowledgeable, friendly staff.
