Dr. Kala and the entire staff are the greatest ever! I was referred over by two friends that has them as their veterinary care source and I was greeted with compassion and concern for my girls well being. Fast service and the are just flat out wonderful there. I was stressed out at my girl’s condition but the Dr and staff was able to test and find a solution for my girls leg and back pain. She’s walking better and sleeping better with no pain and I’m happy to know that we have them as our primary source for pet care! Thank you ladies!❤️

I have no words to express my joy at my journey with Dr.Kala Ravi and the staff at Hurley. My cat Buju was given the best care while she was alive, and an even greater care when it was time to give her eternal relief from her pain. Dr. Kala made sure to explain her health issues clearly, monitored her regularly and was with us till the end. My cat would always feel reassured once we entered this hospital as did we. I wish and pray that all the animals treated here get speedy healing.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Dr. Murali Hurley via phone. Despite having paid for a NexGard flea treatment online and requesting approval for the prescription on September 2, 2024, Dr. Hurley refused to issue my requested writ for prescription on September 3, 2024. The refusal was based on the fact that my pet hadn’t been seen since February 2022, even though it has not yet been three years since the last visit according to Michigan law code MCL § 287.266.
Dr. Hurley insisted that a new checkup and rabies vaccination were required before issuing the prescription, despite my explanation that I would schedule these visits later due to financial constraints. This unreasonable and rigid approach, combined with the urgent need to address a severe flea infestation, demonstrated a blatant disregard for my pet’s well-being.
This refusal felt like more than just a simple oversight or adherence to standard procedure—it seemed like a deliberate denial of necessary care. Dr. Hurley’s actions were not only frustrating but also detrimental to my pet's health and well-being. The entire situation felt like a money grab rather than genuine concern for my pet’s health.
I expected better professionalism and compassion from a veterinary practice. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic.

This place is an answered prayer. Dr Kala and her staff are amazing. My precious fur baby needed immediate, intensive care and I was able to be seen the same day. Pricing is affordable and fair. The team is knowledgeable and compassionate. I will return and will recommend this place to my friends and family. Incredibly thankful to have found this place!

Hurleys definitely saved my baby Milo. I took in a stray cat a few weeks ago and it has been a struggle trying to find help to tend to the needs that he needed. This clinic made it a very smooth and affordable processes. Thank you so much you all for your amazing service.

The staff at Hurley are fantastic! In addition to my.own cats, I take care of a small community of cats. They treat all of them with the same compassion and level of care. Dr Ravi and Dr Murali are extremely knowledgeable and they explain everything thoroughly. The prices are affordable. I highly recommend them!

Hurley Dog and Cat Veterinary Hospital is one of the best around...After taking my dog to Banfield with little help there....I brought him here to Hurley I mean this place was heaven sent...The VET she is the best at what she does and she also have a great staff behind her as well...if u want great service along with great customer service as well bring your pets here....My dog is better than he was when I took him to Banfield...They have reasonable prices and overall great service...Thanks alot u guys for taking good care of mu Neve

This was my 2nd time here. I got there at 830, a woman an a man was in front of me and was told that the wait was 1hour an 30 minutes. I was there I noticed the people that were in front of me was in the building. They was suppose to call me to let me know that I was next but I didn't get a call. I'm still sitting in my car a lady was standing by the door to go in. She said they told me when her dog have puppies to come right on in. So when I got out my car to check of they call my puppy. The lady said me you after this lady. I went an sat down an got back up and asked her how was that because a man was signed before me an they was already in the back. It suppose to be 1st come 1serve. When I asked the lady how do this works because I was there before the lady. She said it's based on the severity of each animal. I said wow as I walked away I been here since 830. I don't have the patience because I have something to do at 12 an it's now 1130. So she walked right in and was serviced. The lady who walked in with her dog an all her puppies say whats wrong the tell me like she call they called her to come in i said how because i seen the ppl who signed before me, she was not one of them. I knew she was lying because I heard what she said before she came in. When the Dr called my dog back he didn't hold the door open for me an my puppy got hit wit the door. I said dang you couldn't hold the door open. He said put her in the scale. I said to myself thats was his job. She wasn't on it a whole second so he didn't get the whole weight she weigh 10lbs. So when we go in the room he ask what am I getting today. I said her shots and surgery oh her hernia if she don't get it she will die. I asked him how does the order of operation work. He tells me to give him a minute. He come back in with the sign sheet you are number 18 an u were complaining I said ok I was talking to someone and was talking on my phone. I don't understand why you are telling me this. He said instead of you talking to them u should have been talking to me. I said I am now I don't understand what the problem is. And what is the point of you bring up that I was complaining. Because you were complaining. Im not worong for stressing how I feel. Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot talk to or about. So now I find myself going back and fourth with him. I told him that he didn't have to service my dog. I got up and walked away. Now as I were walking away he proceded to say things to me. I told him don't say nothing else to me an will not part take into the establishment anymore. Now I have to find some where else to have this procedure done or if i can get it done in time before she pass. The Dr was an Indian male he may talk to his women like that in that tone. I will not allow no one to talk to me that type of way it doesn't matter the race. He could have handled the situation better. But have having a business in a black community and to get treated this was is terrible.
