Great place for Latin American specialty groceries! This is my go-to when I need tomatillos, nopal, epazote, etc. They also have great fresh and frozen tamales (my favorite are the cheese and jalapeño ones). I will say that the prices are a little higher so this isn't my standard place for weekly supplies.

I can always get fresh supplies and ingredients to make all of my Mexican dishes. I have been going to the Honeybee since I was a little girl with my grandmother. In my opinion, it's the only place to shop for my Mexican supplies.

A Detroit institution, it's part of our city shopping trifecta (+Eastern Market and WF) but you could easily do all your shopping there. At this point my body is at least 20% Honey Bee guac and 20% Honey Bee green sauce.

Was referred to your market for our Christmas tamales and originally posted a negative post. However, Honey Bee Market called just at their closing time asking when we were coming to pick up our order. They had us down for 12 dozen pork and 12 dozen chicken tamales. The actual order was for 1 dozen of each. Once the confusion was figured out, arrangements were made for pick up today. The items have been picked up and we have out tamales for Christmas dinner.

I've been a customer since I was 5yrs old. We were the weekend customers. Barbacoa, Carnitas and tortillas were on the menu. And I am still a customer.

A unique Detroit experience. Great local grocery store, but also an incredible place to stop in and order lunch from the back counter. You must try the breakfast burrito ?

The produce is always fresh, and I love grabbing something from the deli for a quick lunch or an easy take-home dinner. Everything from the barbacoa to the enchiladas is fantastic!

This is my go to for ALL things Hispanic. The produce and meats are always fresh and the spice selection is incredible (not just the expansive selection of Goya products)! After shopping I always have to buy 4 or 5 dozen freshly made Tamales. My family usually finishes off 2 before we even get home they are THAT good. Definitely the place to shop if you're planning on making something authentic and delicious!

Honey Bee is a Mexicantown tradition. If you live near it you already go there and if you live in other parts of the city or out in the suburbs you should make the trip. The price and quality of the fresh meat more than covers the cost of gas. The produce cost and is hit or miss and the dairy is expensive so get that elsewhere. But the fresh meat and imported Mexican chilies and seasoning alone are worth the trip. They also have imported snacks and munchies like Frito Lay and Doritos flavors imported from Mexico and brands that are new discoveries. If you love discovering something new, this place is for you.

Amazing Hispanic grocery store. The best chips, salsa and guacamole sold at a store. Now offering house made hummus! A small but great selection of hot food options near the meat counter. A must visit when in Detroit!

Nice selection of goods. The 2 different types of salsa I got were very good. Had some Mexican spices I couldn't find anywhere near me.

Well as you can see I come here for my mangos. I know they serve food here which is great but when you are down here by Southwest Detroit there are too many taco trucks to explore. This grocery store is fast for any food thoughts that you might have. For us it's fast and convenient just around the corner. We like that fact that it's here, we just think it should be open until 9:00 pm. We like it more because the management themselves like what they do. That is providing a good sense of their latest product and provide a very good happy medium. The customers here always feel safe when we come around good feelings here for being in the neighborhood. We love to shop here especially in environment that is not stressful. Which at times it s hard to find in a grocery store. That is all. Chief Bring sense of your best when it comes to setting the example.

The bacon breakfast burritos are very good they have green and red sauce both of them very good. I like the green the best for $1.99 and .50cents for the sauce close to work.
