“This review is in reference to the customer service I experienced at this particular Edible Arrangements store (1339 Eight Mile Road, Detroit) when placing multiple delivery orders. That is, this store did NOT create my arrangements, so I cannot comment on the quality of the actual arrangements themselves, just on the customer service I received when I placed my order in person at this store.

Earlier this month, I had a fairly complex order consisting of 6 different arrangements going to 6 different people/groups at 3 different delivery locations. In addition, I had a number of questions about the approximate size of each arrangement (specifically, how many people each arrangement is intended to serve) as the Edible Arrangement website doesn't contain this really important/useful information. For these reasons, I decided to place my large delivery order in-person in store so I could ask an associate for advice.

I chose this particular Eight Mile Road Edible Arrangements franchise due specifically to the higher-than-average reviews of this location and because this location was most central to my 3 delivery addresses. Kyresha (whom I think was the supervisor/manager on duty) was the first person to greet me as soon as I walked into the store. I told her how many people would need to be served by each fruit arrangement (the arrangement sizes ranged from feeding anywhere from 4 people to 80 people [for the largest arrangement]), and she thoroughly and patiently walked me through the various arrangement options that would be the best fit for each recipient. She then helped me through my indecisiveness as I chose which 6 arrangements to ultimately purchase. Kyresha never ever rushed me throughout the entire ordering process and she went above and beyond to help me understand the differences (and pros/cons) of each arrangement so I could feel confident in my final decisions. She spent 45 minutes helping me ring up the arrangements (issues with the online ordering system, NOT her fault), entering all of the delivery information and instructions, typing up all my personal messages to each recipient, confirming with me all of the details to ensure there were no errors, etc, and, throughout this hour, Kyresha made me feel like a valued customer and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my order and the ordering process from start to finish.

The part of this story that truly illuminates just how amazing Kyresha is with customer care, however, is that I did not know that each Edible Arrangement store has a clearly delineated delivery area which they are not allowed to cross, meaning that each EA franchise is assigned a particular delivery area to service. Any order addresses located outside of their delivery area needs to be sent to a different EA franchise closest to the delivery location. So even if customers WANT to pay extra for delivery so that their chosen EA franchise fulfils their order (e.g., I chose this Eight Mile Road location due to its highest customer ratings, so I was wanting THEM to fulfill my order), the EA store is not allowed by EA corporate to fulfill my order. So Kyresha spent almost an hour with me to help me with my complex order even though she knew full well that other EA franchises around town would be the ones profiting from her customer service care.

Kyresha is truly one of the most thoughtful and genuinely caring sales staff I have ever encountered in my decades of purchasing from Edible Arrangements. When the ordering and payment was processed, I apologized profusely for how much time and labour my order required. Her response to me was that she was happy to help me with processing my order as it was larger and more complicated and she wanted to save ME from any online ordering headaches and/or hiccups. There is clearly good reason why Kyresha is the store manager/supervisor, and she should be held up as a model for other Edible Arrangement stores. Huge kudos to Kyresha at the Eight Mile Road Edible Arrangement ”
