The manager at the Mid Town branch is incompetent. Her own staff said she can not do basic transactions. Then, they send her to the branch on Warren inside the grocery store This manager is unprofessional and incompetent!!

I've been going to this Flagstar Bank for five years using my Bank of America card to withdraw funds. But, today, the ATM kept my card and flashed across the screen that it was for security reasons and that I couldn't get it back. The worker was very rude and nasty to me. NO quality service. No help. No remedy. No compassion. In this age, there should be training to treat customers better than this because everyone is not like me.

Easily the worst mortgage bank I have ever had, and would give them 0 stars of I could. Sadly my mortgage was sold to them, so I didn't have an option. My rates are 3.75 and 4.125 on the 2 mortgages that were sold to them, and I am honestly considering refi'ing with another back just because I HATE this bank that much! They move at a snails pace, they are out of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidelines and I hope they get investigated. I am on day 40 of trying to drop my PMI, and I even sent in my $800 check for the appraisal the first day they allowed me to request the drop PMI. That's right... I sent a check in the mail because this company is so out of date they don't accept Credit Cards and deal everything through standard mail.

Beware!!! My mortgage was sold to Flagstar a while ago and everything was smooth until I had an insurance claim. My claim dates back to 5/7/18. It has been over 7 months and it has been a nightmare. My insurance was the easy part. Once the check was mailed to Flagstar, it was all downhill. I have been waiting on an inspection for about a month. They promised a manager would call me back in 24-48 hours...never happened. They said they were waiving a requirement and mailing me a disbursement since I was waiting so long...never happened. They finally gave me the inspection property management company and they just told me the request was incorrectly input twice! Then they claimed I was being expedited...never happened. I hope they are running out of false promises and lies so I can get this show on the road.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK...Flagstar took over my mortgage from PHH mortgage this month...Had nealy 25,000 in damage and my insurance company (Allstate) sent check made out to them and myself...I'm ready to start work tomorrow with roof (2days replacement) but Flagstar will only send me 7k and says it will take 7-10 days to get the remaining funds to the roofing company...which means I'm of of pocket for over 10,000 dollars...the roofing company (local) will start the work without any upfront funds but wants the full amount upon completion of work ($17,800). WOW...plus with all that I have to supply all docs from roofing company, financial state, insurance, W9 statement, in all 7 documents each from all contractors, flooring, painting, windows, etc. It will take me weeks if not months to get all document to Flagstar in order for work to start! Again...don't waste you time with this BANK!
