12-31-23I work down the street and I have officially had enoughThis is the worst establishment in DetroitPlease do not go to this Family Dollar. There are two other locations within a half mile radius.The workers cannot get right, and they are always out of stock of everythingAnd the employees are beyond rudeThe only thing they have going for them is their employee named Josh, who is just a shelf stalkera manager named Kenny Who is the greatestEveryone else just sucksEspecially the trick with the green hair

I got to the store at 8:45 PM. The store hours are clearly posted on the door that it closes at 9 PM. When I walked to the door the store was already closed. Doors were already locked. The security guard sat there and was playing on his phone while I was knocking on the door, acting like he didn’t hear me. When I pulled in front of the door and got out of the car with my phone to take a picture of the store hours on the door, he got up out of his seat and walked out of my view so I couldn’t see him. I proceeded to call the store four times and no one ever picked up. If I could give them -5 stars I would. I drove up there, but God forbid if someone had to walk up there thinking they had time or had to catch an Uber or a Lyft to grab some emergency items. Needless to say that will be the last store on my list to go to if I ever need to make an emergency run at night because they’re not about to play with me and my time. They need a whole new night staff because the one that they have right now sucks

I frequent this location often. Friendly staff for the most part, usually well stocked. However be prepared to pay cash as the card machine is down often.

They supposed to open up at 8 o'clock they do not open up on time the employees show up before the manager does there's an employee sitting in the parking lot waiting for the manager to come open the store I'm confused

I love Family Dollar, especially on 7 mile near Greenfield and 7 mile and Evergreen in the plaza. The Cashiers are very accommodating.
