I think it's funny me n my wife being Caucasian get dropped off in front of entrance in an uber. The African American manager screams at us and says we can't park there. Also our uber driver was Caucasian. We were literally just getting dropped off. At 1st I thought nothing of it. But a week later we get dropped off by African American uber driver in same spot but back windows were tinted and me n my wife could not be seen. Same manager said nothing to the African American uber driver even though we were parked for 2 minutes trying to locate a cellphone I dropped. I felt a little bit of racial profiling possibly racial stereotyping. But being white in Detroit born n raised I'm pretty much used to it. Every time I go to this specific location I'm followed around by employees and security down every aisle looking like they wanna linch me. So I literally made a game of drawing them away from the actual shoplifters. There so busy following the white ppl around that the other shoppers are robbing them outta house n home. Lol I usually go fill my cashapp card there bcuz it's only a dollar to do so usually loading between $100-$300 each time. The manager seemed to have taken offense to the fact that I pay for all my goods in cash $ n have a couple extra $100 to put on my card. It's came to the point were they say cashapp is down n I can't load money. So I get back in line to purchase an uber card to return home with my purchases since I clearly can't use my unloaded cashapp card. After getting back into line the African American women in front of me loads $ on to her card no issue. But I'm still denied. It's literally came to the point were I show my money as soon as I walk in n have my African American co-worker load the $ on the card. With the recent news articles I've read of shoppers getting ACCIDENTALLY SHOT at dollar stores across America it just feels safer to show my money. I honestly just can't believe the open blatant racism in a corporate chain store. Also always feel like there's so many workers but no check out lines open. Also seems like ppl r always being trained or on break. I hope the corporate office eventually uncovers this and fixes this racism in there store. Talking to you family dollar!

Be on the lookout for a known thief, that frequents your establishment. She's the black lady with all the moles hanging off her body and gets around in a motor chair. She lives next door in Bowin Place. She brags about the stealing she does there and brings people with her to steal. Watch her when she comes in, cause she's coming to steal.

I notice my client needed some body wash yesterday so I stopped in here and grabbed her some ocean breeze, it smells wonderful, she loves it and I will be back tomorrow to grab her some other smells.

My experience there for the first time felt like I was a child in the ware fare line. And the lady behind the counter was pregnant and keeping pennies because they didn't have none and said "it happens like that" and smile. Poor service

That Family Dollar located on Greenfield in Detroit off of 7 Mile Road needs to be shut down. The service is terrible the store is a wreck and it's nothing but kids working there. No order in that store whatsoever. The regional manager need to step in and take over and get rid of the bad seeds. The stores going down.

I just went to five from four they've gotten better over the last couple of months. But for all snow events, business owners and residents are required to clear snow from their sidewalks. They don't do this. City ordinance shown below.Parking Restrictions, Snow Emergencies & Requirements of CitizensRoadways that have been identified as snow emergency routes will have signs posted up to 48 hrs in advance to prohibit parking for the purpose of plowing. Residents will also receive notices for street clearing via the media, as well as the City of Detroit website and cable channels. In extreme weather, the City may declare a snow emergency, which will allow police to ticket and tow illegally parked vehicles on snow emergency routes, therefore providing access for the streets to be plowed from curb to curb. During this time, any streets that have been marked by red and white signs are first priority for snow removal.Residents and businesses are reminded that they are responsible for maintaining their sidewalks in a manner that makes it safe for pedestrians. Snow removal companies and property owners are prohibited from putting snow from their property onto public roadways.

I had a terrible experience ? at the family dollar on Greenfield and 7mil, the cashier wouldn't give me my two sympathy cards unless I put the money in her hand, mine you I gave her the exact amount, due to covid, I'm very precaution, I explained to the manager what had just happened and her response was out of courtesy I should have put it in her hand so the Mgr pick the funds up and gave it to the cashier after the gentleman behind me said to the both of them, due to covid this is going to happen, he felt the same way as I did...I don't want anyone to lose their job but please have a meeting with them about customer service.
