I made a purchase and wanted cash back from the transaction. I went outside to get my debit card. I had my niece go out for it and I had to follow behind so I was a bit frustrated. I forgot about the poorly written sign with a dried marker stating no cash back. I was a bit confused as it also says we do not load cards, I presume taking from my own account was okay. And the no cash back was for couponers. When I selected the option for cash back the cashier (whose name is Kia) was rude. She was already talking on the phone through her earpiece when I stepped to the counter. She gave me pure attitude as though I interrupted her. When I made the selection she yelled ION HAVE IT, U CANT READ? THATS WHY THE SIGN IS THERE. I DONT HAVE IT! I DONT HAVE IT! It's 10am. I said nothing since my niece was with me. She slammed the register drawer and told me I would have to come back. She then proceeded to write a note on the back of the receipt. She told me I have to come back before 3. I have an event at 12, I tried calling corporate but it's Sunday and they are closed. This is one of the absolute worst locations for customer service, stock, and cleanliness. So now, I have $50 withdrawn from my account and no money in hand.

They never have any change when you pay with cash, they use old bags to bag your things and they barely have the essentials. Like why is this place even open?

The systems are either always down and updating says the employees or the employees always have the door locked idk what's going on but they always close really really early, the store needs new management and employees or needs to be shut down completely since there never open anyways. Always a waste of time to go up there.

Absolute worst experience in a Family Dollar in my life. Stay away from this location. I wish the store was the most disgusting part but the employee passed that by 1000%. Most rude person I’ve ever had to deal with. They need to fire her immediately because she obviously has no customer services skills.
