What is the point of the New Detroit bus terminal, The Jason Hargrove, if it’s only for the cleaning crew and bus drivers. The cleaning crew locks the main entrances for paying patrons, who have to stand outside the building and endure all weather elements. The cleaning crew treats the center as their personal home, and no one is allowed to enter the area , that’s supposed to be for paying bus patrons. Also, don’t think of using the restroom in between busses, good luck because the whole building is locked down. Only the bus drivers have access through their own entrance. I guess this building was built for show. The cleaning crew likes to have their meals and watch t.v. On their phones, without any pesky paying patrons. What is the real reason for building this structure, Not to mention they don’t clean up outside anymore, or power wash the sidewalks or streets, they did months ago. I guess that was all for show, they were doing that every day. Now outside looks a total mess just like the poor Rosa Parks terminal. Their are no times posted to say it’s not a 24 hour facility for patrons. They call the police when patrons ask questions, like why is the building closed to paying patrons. It’s very important in Michigan (Detroit) to keep your car running properly, so you don’t have to deal with the likes of so called Detroit transportation and their bus terminals. I feel bad for the citizens of Detroit. For a up and coming world class city, they sure don’t treat dedicated citizens like they matter. And that’s not only regarding transportation in the city.

They are terrible and this has been going on for years smart bus better ! They don’t cut rides as much as DDOT everyday 3pm bus for 6 mile going both ways buses get cut all the time

Detroit buses are absolutely terrible the buses are so inconsistent you never know when the bus is coming or not no matter what time it says the busses will have absolutely late to where ever important you need to go terrible absolutely terrible being from Detroit myself

evening mack bus 6pm then 8pm everyday except Friday. then today you run a 7pm and no 8pm. you do everything you can to be unreliable, I swear!

Well I have been waiting on a 7 mile bus to at least keep the scheduled time and guess what, the 7 mile bus westbound works but I assume they having way to much fun at the end of the line because I have not seen no eastbound bus yet. Smh

Nearly no drivers in this region use their turn indicator lights, and many debate over what a flashing red means. Creates for very dangerous and confusing driving conditions. Must better emphasize on driver education.

I've had to ride ddot for years and it's not getting any better for Detroit. The buses are often late and many of the drivers seem to hate driving and people. I just had to cancel my appointment because a driver passed me up for no apparent reason. Detroit is a rough place to live unless you're downtown.

I been riding d.dot for as long as I can remember and a lots of the driver are very nice I no there job is very stressful at time but to night it was very cold and one bus didn't show up so I was very mad but the driver of the vandyk bus show up his customer service was outstanding he made sure we was on time for are next bus and to all the driver's thank for your service
