“What a gem for our community. I’m a local preschool teacher and always find fun materials to add to our classroom. Cards, envelopes, and other stationary supplies for our writing area. Tubes and loose parts for our block area. Mystery surprises for our house area. Fabric for tablecloths and classroom decor for holidays. Beads and beads and beads for my little bracelet makers. Arts & Scraps has been the number one supplier for our classroom for years. My art loving daughter loves to find her own treasures, we recently made a pen-pal kit for her friend who was moving out of state. Can’t say enough good things about this place, Stevie is wonderful.”

“An Exquisite place that's been with us for over a hundred years. Saw some short plays and a wonderful collection of Broadway Tunes curated by Sean van Schwartz. The evening included a light collection of finger foods from Lily's catering with delicious desserts made by Sue the theater creative director. They will have another great show in April so do yourself a favor and make arrangements to be there!”

“Very interesting place. The event I attended was an art exhibit. Senior artists created a plethora of art in a variety of mediums. The facility as a whole is well thought out with space for activities and personal care assistance. I was informed they offer advocate services, mentorship and community fellowship events. Parking is readily available and easy to access. I really enjoyed the event”

“I love The Hub and Back Alley Bikes! Whether I need a piece of advice, a new tube, or a full tune up, The Hub is always my first stop. The staff is always super kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The shop always has quality bikes and if they don’t have the parts I’m looking for they are quick to offer placing an order. Back Alley is also an incredible asset to have around with the amount of apartment dwellers that lack ample space to wrench on bikes. I love The Hub and Back Alley and I will tell anybody that will listen!!”
“Nice Y. I've only gone there for the veterans' aqua therapy program. A nice facility with attentive lifeguards, clean and warm water. Parking can be the only challenge if you drive there”

“This place was really reasonable with their pricing and the service was friendly and fast. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get your dog vaccines.”
“This is housed in the iconic Senate theater. I was there to participate in a Moth storytelling competition called the Grandslam. I recommend everyone to go to this annual Detroit Moth radio show event. So much fun! People get on stage and share a five minute true story from their life. I can't believe I had the opportunity to do this and how well it went! Listen to the Moth on NPR and you can see videos of storytellers on the Moth YouTube channel and on their website”
“Blown away by this place and its dedicated staff. Their open workshop days let me fix up my aunt's old bike on the cheap - they have all the tools, knowledge, and used parts for nearly any job, seemed like. Affordable, friendly, diverse... they're trying to get people on bikes by any means necessary, giving away so much material and labor... hope it works for them and the city”

“Loren made us a lot of promises that the agency did certain things, then got nasty and rude when we asked for that assistance. Feels like we were lied to and just left to deal with everything on our own.
I left a review here and got in touch with Amy, who was a tremendous help and really went above and beyond to help us get some things done after weeks of trying. She was also able to explain more about what the center does and doesnt do. Just for her willingness to listen and help, my opinion and experience was changed. If you need help reach out, if you dont get that help try so more. Theres people that actually care here.”
8:30AM - 12PM
13240 Woodrow Wilson St, Detroit“Great hearted peoples, providing free treatment and medication to the community. In this world people don’t even talk without benefits. I don’t understand why people giving negative reviews where they getting free service?
