Wow, what a gem of a hotel. We booked here on a whim to see a Red Wings game and it was super easy to walk to the arena and all downtown Detroit has to offer. Cannot say enough good things about it. The staff was wonderful, and the decor and vibe is on point. If it's not the best hotel I've stayed in, it's easily in the top three (and it's in Detroit!). Just wow. My entire opinion of Detroit has changed for the better. Way to knock this place out of the park from top to bottom.

Rooms were probably the best I’ve ever stayed in. Very clean and well kept. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Will say there was a strong cologne that seemed to be present every where like a Hollister store. Not bad, but just different.

Stumbled onto this hotel as two of the more popular destinations were booked due to the Lions game.It was a blessing in disguise.Brand new hotel. Great rooms. Great staff. Clean. Everything a hotel should be. Highly recommend.

Hotel is in a safe location and walkable to downtown's events, restaurants, and dinning. Parking is close by to park your own car or hotel has valet parking for $45 a night with unlimited in and out. The lobby for check-in is on the 3rd floor. Hotel has a nice lobby bar where you can get good craft cocktails, beer or wine. In nice weather large rooftop seating. There is a sports bar in the basement too. A taco fast service restaurant and upscale restaurant on site. Modern stylish and clean hotel from entry through to the rooms. Rooms have space to spread out and large bathroom with walk-in shower. Comfortable beds with in room fridge and large mounted TV. Enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.Rooms: Clean, spacious rooms that were comfortable.Nearby activities: All downtown stadiums, arena, theatres, bars and restaurants of all type near by.Safety: Felt safe being out in about from hotel to downtown.Walkability: 20 minute walk to downtown was easy and safe.

Stayed at this hotel on the weekend for a concert in Detroit. The hotel is brand new and so beautiful. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The food options were fabulous, one of the best breakfasts of my life! There is slso a taco bodega and a golf simulator pub right on location. I accidentally left my cell phone in one of the restaurant areas before heading out for the night. I called the hotel and someone had already placed it at the front desk for me thank goodness. When I arrived back in the wee hours of the morning, someone from the hotel had already taken it up and put it in my room. That's service! Highly recommend.

It's a great hotel for a business trip or conference. My room was spotless. If you're someone who worries about bed bugs, this hotel has no carpets. My room could easily accommodate someone in a wheelchair. The staff were great. Food service is still evolving.

The hotel is gorgeous on the inside. I hate we didn't get any pictures of the decor. The staff was courteous. Valet was prompt. We were there several nights and only got a knock on the door from room service once. We were told if we needed anything from them to call so I guess that was why. The room we stayed in was really nice and roomy. There wasn't any noise. The bar closes around 11pm each night, roof top seating. A nice outdoor common area available as well.Nearby activities: Several restaurants and close to casinos. Located downtown.

What a beautiful hotel! Every inch of the hotel us designed beautifully with attention to detail everywhere. The textured walls and art throughout the entire hotel was just so classy and elegant. The valet was so nice and there were beautiful cars in front of the hotel. The pictures we took of my daughter in the room for her 21st birthday are stunning because the rooms are colorful and extremely clean. My daughter stayed with her girlfriends and they enjoyed a very safe night on the town and they traveled to and from venues easily using Uber. Thank you very much Cambria Hotel!

Beautiful hotel. Rooftop deck is perfect for events of any size with a view of the city that is unmatched. Staff is quite warm and friendly. Overall, a very nice place to stay, eat, drink, visit... whatever. Highly recommended for any reason.Nearby activities: It's pretty well centrally located. Shopping, restaurants, casinos and bars are all nearby. I really enjoyed working an event at this hotel. It's relatively new, so it's quite nice. You won't be disappointed.

RUN. Don’t stay at this hotel they’re racist or something to that extent if you’re not an Arabic they will talk to you any type of way & they won’t accommodate your needs if there’s a problem with your room. My view was of a Garbage area not a city view that I paid extra for a Garbage dumpster & cans. I watched them accommodate another guest (Arabic) for the exact same complaint I had they gave him a new room on another floor & everything I was right behind the guy is what’s crazy, & they told me that I either had to stay in the room or they could refund me which would take up to 5-7 business days cause I used my credit card. Those were the only options given the only person that was decent was the doorman & the host the bartender was rude as hell they receptionist at the front desk was racist & short & the supervisor/manger. I would never recommend this place try going to one these “The Detroit Foundation” or “Roost Detroit Hotel” or “The Authenium” or “MGM Hotel” or “The Henry” (The autograph collection Hotel). They all have much better service & it’s worth it.

The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of history. The room was clean, other than a few small pieces of lint and debris around the bed. There's some fun stuff to do a short drive from the hotel, but nothing much in walking distance. The person at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Parking is $45 a night, which is pricey, even for a city.One of the valet people got mad at me for pulling into the valet the wrong way. It's fine to ask someone to correct something they are doing wrong, but that valet person's tone was needlessly aggressive. I have run into a few people like this in Detroit, so I am wondering whether it is a cultural thing. Either way, please tell the valet staff to be respectful. I don't expect to pay $300+ dollars for the hotel, $45 for parking, and be spoken to like that. I am paying for a luxury experience, not an abusive one.

First I want to thank J.J. She was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Made my family and I feel like a million bucks during our stay. She was able to give me the best rate each night we were there.Hotel staff was amazing and had great attitudes from the bar tenders to the house keeping department id recommend this hotel first over all them downtown.

Walked into this hotel & was speechless!!! Amazing all around stay. Room was very comfortable & perfect. My favorite was the roof top bar & lounge. The staff & service was excellent. What a spectacular place. I will be returning soon. Thanks for such a great stay

AMAZING decor!!!!!! visited the live bar which the bartender wasn't the friendliest, but the drinks were ok...the live music was great @blaaqgold and decor was beautiful throughout as I stated, down to the restroom. I would return hopin I got a more upbeat bartender.Nearby activities: Near the casinos, other restaurants, Beacon park and more....Food & drinks: There's a taco restaurant inside, which was very good, food at the golf spot located within and nearby restaurants as well.
