I returned a sweater and pocket square to this store and instead of returning the money to my account the sales person charged me again and took the clothes back. I’ve now paid double with nothing to show for it

After returning from a trip last evening around 6:00 pm, we stopped in specifically to buy a polo shirt for another upcoming vacation. We were literally the only customers in the store, yet the sales person didn’t greet us or offer to help us. After going through the entire store, looking at and picking up a number of items, we found the polo shirts, went through the inventory, but couldn’t find my husband’s size. I called to the clerk (“Miss? Could you help us, please?”) and she helped up a finger, as if to indicate I should wait (she was standing in the rear of the store, eating, I think). When she finally came up to us and I told her what we were looking for, she started to go through the inventory. I told her we had done that but his size wasn’t on the sales floor. She then suggested he buy one size larger, which is ridiculous. At no time did she offer any other solutions or suggestions. We left.

I was coming to Detroit for an interview and my suit was left behind in Portland. I was so lucky to have Bhavana there to help me in picking out something. She bent over backwards to get me exactly what I needed and she did it when the store was close to closure. Usually you feel sort of rushed and like they want you to leave when a store is about to close but she was just interested in getting me exactly what I needed. Because of her I got the job and I will be back. Extremely impressed. Prices were good for the quality. The shirt and pants are comfortable and very nice.

Went to return a shirt that didn't quite look right with my suit, after my flight. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude, and even scolded me for not bringing it back in it's plastic packaging. This went on during the entire transaction. Not to mention she was on her cell phone the entire time! Unacceptable Brooks Brothers.

Stopped by the store while passing through yesterday evening. The lady worked there was so unpleasant: I walked in and told her I had an unworn item to return. Immediately, she gave me a sour look and numerous reasons why I could not do it in her store...She even suggested I had to return it to the original store where I purchased from (2 hrs flight away). I insisted it was not possible and she said "oh, you have 60 days to return it anyway". In another word, get out of my store! At that point, I was annoyed and insisted that she call her supervisor. Eventually someone showed up and said 'yes, of course, we will take it back'. Even then the lady kept bickering... I had NEVER experienced that with any Brooks Brothers store in the past and will not enter this establishment ever again!

Was not greeted by the 2 women working. When I walked to the counter with an item I wanted to try on, they just looked at me.. I then had to ask to try it on. Tried on item, did not fit, had to walk to front exit of store to find them to let them know it did not work for me and that the dress had a torn belt holder/string broken. They both just looked at me and one said "oh". Not a word more did not take item, and they then turned to each other and continued their conversation. I put the dress back, and walked out of the store with no"thank you for coming into our store" nothing not a word.
