You remember the disaster that happened on the Gulf Coast, correct? I can't remember the year it happened, but the one thing I've taken from that incident is that British Petroleum (BP) uses American oil. Amoco was the former name and entity, bought over by BP. I go to these locations to purchase American gas instead of gas derived from petroleum from foreign countries. I don't even want gas from Canada! And Citgo uses gas from Venezuela (or so I've heard---correct me if I'm wrong). If there are any other petroleum companies using American gas, then I'd like to know. Otherwise, BP is my favorite---for buying American!
