Now that I know exactly where Blick Art Materials is, I've been there twice this month. The gentleman at the front counter is very helpful and knowledgeable about the merchandise they carry. Plenty of stock, neatly I organized at comparable pricing. The parking is a bit iffy, sometimes it's available and sometimes I have to cruise around the area.

Really nice place, but small. I am a painter, but I really wasn’t feeling the paints so I bought a really cool rainbow colored pencil. I’ll go back.

As an artist, the best place in mid town to buy supplies. A wide range of art supplies for beginners to masters. Great sales and the customer service is good.

Great selection of art supplies, usually expensive, but quality stuff. It's a bit small for a Blick, but they still have a lot of options in stock.

I really love this store. I found the best pens there today. They have a great selection of most any creative thing you could need. The store is clean, bright and well organized. Love it!

Initial 2-star rating was a total accident! Google always hits me with a notification to rate whatever business it thinks I was just in, and this must have happened in my pocket. Visited yesterday and staff was extremely helpful; this Blick is conveniently located and always well-stocked. 5/5 !!

Sold me a glue stick that didn’t even have the glue in it and when I asked if I could swap it out the next day they said I couldn’t. So awesome to get screwed by a company that makes money over up-charging artists. Great selections of supplies though!

They have a large selection of stuff in the store. They always have what I need in stock. The hours are kinda weird and the parking lot can be really tough to navigate if it's busy. All in all for the only art supplies store in Detroit it's pretty decent.

This was my first time purchasing from this store. I called because I was having a problem with my order online and because of Covid-19 curbside pick up was the only option. I called a second time and spoke with Orlando who attempted to walk me through the online curbside pick up ordering process. He then noticed that I was still having trouble and asked me what products I was looking for and took my order over the phone. I understand Orlando did not have to do this but he did and it was the highlight of my day! I really appreciate Orlando going above & beyond to assist me, a first time customer. He noticed my frustration with the online process and went the extra mile to make sure that I was going to be a return customer. Thank you so much Orlando and Blick please recognize him for a job well done!

I’ve only gone to Blick’s twice in my life, once at a different store and then yesterday. All I gotta say every employee there was amazingly helpful, I didn’t catch his name but the guy who rang me up was so nice, helpful, and engaging. I got signed up for the card and saved a lot of money. The selection there is overwhelming (in a good way)! So much stuff! I work at Michaels and it was so refreshing to see such a variety of stuff! I will def come back again when I’m in the city and need to grab some stuff! They have everything!

My most favorite of the blicks stores, nicest workers, always friendly. Have so many art supplies and single colored pencils for replacement in sets without buying the whole set again. It's an artist's wonderland.

I buy a lot of supplies from Blick. Recently I ordered a bunch of canvasses online and was disappointed when some of them needed restretching. It seemed to have been caused by shipping. This has never happened before - I've usually found Blick canvasses to be very good. When I complained, customer service and someone from their shipping dept contacted me almost immediately to resolve the matter. I am very happy to say that I am a very happy customer once again.

love you, blick! getting the set of 150 prismacolor premier pencils for $80 (retails for $300+) was the best price i have ever paid for prismacolors. the frequent sales of this magnitude are such a life saver for my broke art student lifestyle. blick is absolutely a top tier business. i’ve been a loyal customer since 2008 and have never had any issues. best prices, best selection, and best staff seems to be the blick standard. ?

Awesome I was worried about parking and traffic but it all worked out perfect. Staff was great and had all my supplies from my list. They accepted book voucher.
