I needed 3 lines of information out of Bellhop.So they delayed 6 days getting me that information and as a result, I'm not moving in on the 23rd of June, I'm using a new moving company to move in on the 8th of July.

Bellhop fooled me twice. I attempted to book with them a couple of years ago and ended up having to cancel because the over the phone representatives were so incompetent that they got my reservation all mixed up. Here I am, a couple of years later, attempting to book with this company and yet again there’s a problem. I got up hours early to make sure I was prepared for my appointment time, cleared out any entrances so that the movers have clear access. Made this reservation days ago, and the movers were supposed to arrive between 8-8:30am. No phone call and not a mover in sight. I had to call Bellhop and ask what’s going on and they couldn’t tell me, only told me that they would “look into it” and then call me back in 15 mins. It’s been past 15 minutes and I still haven’t received a phone call. The third time is NOT a charm, so therefore I will never again in life book with Bellhop again. I’ll be sure to spread the word about it too.

Trash company. Canceled on me at the time they were supposed to be here. Left me high and dry with zero help. Do yourselves a favor and find a real company to help with your move

I paid my deposit and applied a Groupon for what was supposed to be a 4 man 1 driver 1 truck move taking 4 hours. Only 3 men showed up and one of them left halfway through. The 4 hours turned into nearly 9. My new apartment and furniture was damaged. They never applied the Groupon, gave me the runaround via phone and email, never sent the reimbursement form they said they would, and ended up charging me more than double what we'd agreed on. Even better, I filed a chargeback and today the bank sided with THEM, overdrafted my checking to reimburse them, and completely emptied my savings to cover the fees. I was livid in May and I'm livid all over again six months later. Save yourself.

We used this company on the recommendations from our mortgage company, and it was the absolute worst moving experience. The movers were inexperienced and there was no leadership. Multiple items and walls were damaged. The move required two trucks and six movers. One half of the six man crew left after the loading of the old home was completed instead of helping the other crew. They came to the new home and left after the first unload was completed. One of the individuals with the second crew left before the load was completed. We were left with two inexperienced individuals and the heaviest of the items. We had to scramble with the company to get an additional movers to come unload the second truck. We also had to promise the second crew additional money in order to get the job completed. I would definitely not recommend this company for a move. The basically subcontract with local companies and there is very little accountability.

Don't do it. Truck driver on time. One mover showed at 8:30 (move was scheduled at 8), the other showed at 9:30. Only moving 13 pieces of furniture, no boxes, no large kitchen appliances and it's almost 2 hours later and they are still not done. The movers are slow and clumsy. Please save your furniture and your sanity and look elsewhere for movers.

I hired bellhop moving services and 3 of my items were severely damaged. After filing a claim, bellhop offered me 168 for 3 chest dressers!!!Also the movers were an hour and half late. And they’re charging us over $1000 for a half job. Please do not use this moving service if you value your items.

We scheduled their service out 10 days in advance and they cancelled us on the last minute. They tried to reschedule us for five days from now and we coordinated for this move to be done before the fourth, when our lease was up. The rep was complaining to us on the phone how he would have to pay the guys extra to stay. On top of that, an hour earlier, they said they were still coming but would be late. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Promised to paint our 0 of 5 star experience far and wide to save you the trouble.

We booked a move with Bellhop and the day before the move they called to say they did not have a truck. They asked me if I would rent a truck and the they would provide the movers!! WHAT!!The movers showed up, the boss of the team showed up about an hour late. The movers did not have a clue about how to move furniture, and they reminded me of the keystone cops. They were ill prepared and came without enough blankets to protect the furniture which was knicked and scratched in multiple places. The plastic wrap rolls they used are probably somewhat expensive which is puzzling why they left a few rolls behind. No respect for company assets.Bottom line, Bellhop was totally unprofessional & poorly trained.I would strongly urge customers to look elsewhere unless they want they move totally screwed up.

I've worked in customer service my entire adult life. I get that things happen. But Bellhop was the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. There was a snowstorm across the entire Midwest a day before our move. Because of this we were worried our move would be canceled or rescheduled. We reached out to the company and they reassured us that the movers would still be there but they wanted to push the move time from 8am to 9am. No problem. The day of our move 9am rolls around and no movers are anywhere to be seen. We called for an update. We were told they were getting us an ETA and the driver had confirmed he would be there. 10am comes and goes, 11am, noon. We are constantly having to call and ask for updates. We are constantly being told they have people ready and are wasting for an update. No one is keeping us in the loop unless we call them. And we have new homeowners moving into our old house in less than 24 hours. Finally we are told they would like to reschedule the move to the next day because they have only one driver & one mover to help us out. At this point it's noon. We have been sitting around for hours. We have our entire life packed in boxes and our furniture disassembled. And again, new homeowners moving into the home in the morning. The snow is melted and roads are cleared by now so snow was a non issue. We also didn't trust they would even send anyone the next day. So we told them to go ahead and send the driver and the one mover. We called around and got some of our friends to help us out. The truck and mover showed up a little after 1pm and we all spent the next 6 hours loading the moving truck ourselves. The driver & loader that showed up were amazing. So helpful and professional. They showed up the text group chat with all the other movers. They had all texted in around 2am that morning to let our moving coordinator know they wouldn't be coming in. So Ben (the coordinator) left us hanging for hours with no answers knowing he had no movers. And again, we understand things happen. But we were lied to multiple times and told people were coming when they never were. We would have respected honesty way more. So in the end not everything fit onto the truck. Likely because we had a bunch of amateurs loading it who didn't know how to Tetris things in. So what does Bellhop do? Absolutely nothing. They told us they would not send out another truck. Even if we were willing to pay for it. We had a garage full of stuff that we had to clear out of the house before 9am the next morning. So we were forced to rent a uhaul and load all of that stuff ourselves. Bellhop gave us a discount that was laughable given the insane lack of customer service that was provided. Lies, no communication & complete unprofessional behavior by the people in office. The discount didn't even cover the cost of the uhaul we had to rent, let alone the the gas for it or hotel we had to pay for because it was 11pm by the time this day was over. Thankfully our drop off went smoothly. Because of the driver, Gary. He coordinated with the unloaders to make sure that they showed up at the correct time and the correct location. Because shocker, they had the incorrect time & location and no one would answer our phone calls to confirm in office. The guys that unloaded were great. Professional, on time & great attitudes. However, I would NEVER consider using this company again. They were an absolute nightmare to work with and they absolutely don't care about their customers. Look anywhere else you possibly can before ever considering this company.

Under no circumstances should you choose to move with Bellhop. I made reservations for a residential move with Bellhop on a Sunday at 2 PM. My estimated total was approximately $850 for five hours. On the day of my reservation, at 2:30, I called customer service to see where my movers were at & to get an ETA. I was put on a 15-minute hold that forwarded my call to voicemail. I tried again and successfully connected with customer service. I was told that the movers were wrapping up a move and would be on the way shortly, approximately 4-4:30. By this time, it was 3:45. At 5 pm, I called customer service again to see the hold-up. I was told that the drivers had just wrapped up the last move and were on the way; the customer service representative told me to expect the movers around 5:30. Notice the pattern? At 6, I called customer service again and was told that the director over my reservation would reach out to me. After waiting 20 minutes, i received a call and was informed that the movers would not be coming. An entire day was wasted. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH BELLHOP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

Great team, leader was good even when team showed up late. One guy on team was pretty rough, almost dropped appliances twice and was skidding boxes across the floor. But nothing was damaged and they did a good job overall.Services: Local moving

We had a team of three (Ramone, Myles, Alex) that did a six hour mid-afternoon move. They were super professional and made the stressful act of moving fun with their witty banter. The company itself wassuper responsive via email and phone. They were very transparent with cost and fees.Services: Local moving
