“Dallas has been a great help with assisting me in the moving process and any concerns(very few) that I have had while living here. I just hit the six month mark of living here. I love my apartment and how I was able to personalize it. I live off the alley but I rarely smell anything because the dumpsters are emptied almost every day. The noise from that took a second to get used to (about a month) but now I don’t even wake up. A lot of people in the building have dogs but I never hear them nor smell them. The building is super clean and always smell fresh. Idk if it’s just my floor but it’s always quiet in here. Even on the weekends. So I would highly recommend this building if you want to be part of the downtown community. Tell them I sent you ?”

“We stayed here (an Airbnb apt) for the Ed Sheeran concert at Ford Field. It is an excellent location if you want to attend any event there or Comerica Park or the Fox Theater.It is a quiet building. However, at night, you can hear some external noise if there are sirens, etc.”

It's right in the heart of downtown so you have access to lots of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms themselves are very clean, and maintenance responds very quickly when you need something fixed. Highly recommend it!”

“When I first moved into Town residences it was a disaster my bathroom would not stop backing up and nothing was getting solved with the previous manager but thankfully Greg was currently taking over that position and worked so hard to make sure it got fixed, On top of Turning town residences into a much better place So I want to give a huge thank you to him for not only that but treating my boyfriend, my dogs (always gives them pets and treats) and I so great the entire year we were there. I also want to give a huge thank you to Talia in the office who stayed even after hours helping clean up my bathroom when the backing up was happening and helping solve any issues along the way returning all my calls and helping with anything she could she is truly amazing! Then I want to give a huge thank you to Doug at the front desk who never failed to make anyone who walked in smile, he made everyday walking into the building a good day. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone there feels at home and feels safe. He is so caring and will listen to your problems and give you any advice you need! is overall just a great human being and is very great at his job! So as long as they work there it’s worth 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Great exterior architecture!!! Inside has been remodeled into uniform utilitarian apartments, but for the cost of rent you can't beat it!!! (Kamper Stevens down on the next block is also worth checking out) Rent is based on income. Almost all apartments are 1 bedroom 1 bath, except for a few 2 bedroom 1 bath on the 21st floor which are around $1000/month. All apartment's views are spectacular. Rent for all apartments includes heat and water, are cable ready, have air conditioning, and a dedicated cable for the front door camera.”

But I was immediately charmed by the lobby’s beautiful architecture and the enticing selection of restaurants and shops and the lifestyle I imagined. My own unit has wonderful architectural details and I never tire of the inspiring view. The building management, the front desk staff and the friendly residents take pride in caring for the building and looking out for each other. Maintenance issues and repairs like heating and air conditioning, roof and window repairs, cleanliness, parking are address proactively by a responsible condo board and tenants are notified of unavoidable short term inconveniences. This is a great home base from which to explore Detroit and to appreciate what this amazing city has to offer.”

“I'm currently a Tennant and I have a service Animal I've lived here now 2 years and my opinion Latoya Bell,And Jade Are And Have Always been Very Professional I pay my Rent And Stay To Myself I'm Very Respectful towards Every one I'm very Appreciative how when I have a maintenance concern the maintenance comes in a reasonable time and the maintenance individuals keep the grounds clean every day also the security on the first shift is extremely helpful and he does his job my opinion and the after 4 shift office Wayne as we call him they go over and above to patrol these grounds I walk my service animal all times of the night and I feel safe with the officer”

He and the team made the transition smooth and without question this has to be the best property downtown. They even gave us free KFC dinners and it’s only my second month here lol!! “I actually enjoy living here at The Jeff. They have a very friendly staff and are always willing to help. One day while dog sitting for a friend, my dog got loose and the staff stopped everything they were doing to help me find my friends dog and bring him back to me safely. I lover the views and spacious apartments. You honestly wont go anywhere in downtown Detroit an get these view, this space and this staff for this price.”
“I've lived here for 8 months at the time of writing. This is far and away the nicest place I've lived since moving to Detroit four years ago. TL;DR: The place is reasonably clean & quiet, it doesn't feel cheaply renovated, maintenance is handled well, management is responsive, and the neighborhood is reasonably quiet with good amenities.The grounds are kept reasonably clean, the apartments aren't falling apart the way you see many others around the city are, and maintenance has never been an issue. There are always issues with any rental, especially older buildings, but the issues here have been minor and have been handled so well that they aren't worth mentioning beyond that. I really can't stress it enough: I've been in various places while attending university, and all of them felt like they were just barely holding together, with at least one crippling issue (pipes freezing, showers breaking, mold issues,) cropping up every year. My apartment here doesn't do that. It doesn't feel like it could fall apart at any moment. They're low maintenance (on your end,) solid apartments.Management (especially Jeannette, who is on-site 5 days a week) has always been responsive to concerns & tries to be on top of things around the complex.The amenities in the neighborhood are worth mentioning: You've got two grocery stores just a block away, the Dequindre Cut is just a block away, and the Riverfront is easily reachable too. Downtown is a bit of a hike, but still perfectly doable. The area is reasonably quiet most nights, and your neighbors within the complex (from my experience) are too. The pool was renovated recently, at the time of writing.It's a good place to live.”
