“Since moving in, I’ve loved the boulevard. The leasing office personnel are lighthearted and help where they can. The maintenance goes above and beyond to make sure any issues are handled in a timely manner. Tamone is a very hard working man, from the daily maintenance, to working the emergency calls. He dedicates his time to making sure residents are safe and comfortable.”

1511 1st St, Detroit“IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE IN DOWNTOWN DETROIT, this is it! Always going over and beyond! If you want a truly affordable place in the downtown area, THIS IS IT! Great location, wonderful staff who are punctual and understanding. Dog friendly too!”
“You can’t beat the location! Having just recently(ish) switched management companies we were expecting some hiccups, but it was nothing we couldn’t handle. 10/10 would recommend living here! You are right in the heart of everything in a cool industrial building with a great staff and friendly neighbors… do it!
Vernie and the maintenance team are always quick to respond which is greatly appreciated! They have helped us so much time and time again. <3
Janeen is so amazing and we are SO GLAD to have her! Her positive energy and attitude are a bright light in the building.”
“To me they are like family. It’s not just a place to live, it’s a community. And I think that’s important in the stand age and Regency Tower Apts provides me with that in spite of my own shortcomings”
“Ricci gave my wife and I an amazing tour of a 1bd home spacious great windows and amenities her customer service was amazing and could tell she’s very personable with residents!”

1538 Centre St, Detroit“For downtown living, it's incredibly affordable (aside from parking) with a lot of great amenities. It's right in the heart of downtown so you have access to lots of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms themselves are very clean, and maintenance responds very quickly when you need something fixed. Highly recommend it!”
“Love how quiet it is…..grounds are well taken care of and maintained…….. maintenance comes quickly when called. The lady in the office Miss Drake is the best.”

15 E Kirby St, Detroit“When I moved into the Park Shelton a year ago I hadn’t been considering moving to Detroit. But I was immediately charmed by the lobby’s beautiful architecture and the enticing selection of restaurants and shops and the lifestyle I imagined. My own unit has wonderful architectural details and I never tire of the inspiring view. The building management, the front desk staff and the friendly residents take pride in caring for the building and looking out for each other. Maintenance issues and repairs like heating and air conditioning, roof and window repairs, cleanliness, parking are address proactively by a responsible condo board and tenants are notified of unavoidable short term inconveniences. This is a great home base from which to explore Detroit and to appreciate what this amazing city has to offer.”
“Everything is so perfect, no complications at all !!!!
I have asked about the bug issues that were mentioned in some reviews, they told that has been taken care of and i have been living here for 3 days now and everything is fabulous up untill now.... Toure is very helpful !!!!, very nice down to earth guy and he has made my move in more than easy , special thanks to this guy...”
“Great exterior architecture!!! Inside has been remodeled into uniform utilitarian apartments, but for the cost of rent you can't beat it!!! (Kamper Stevens down on the next block is also worth checking out) Rent is based on income. Almost all apartments are 1 bedroom 1 bath, except for a few 2 bedroom 1 bath on the 21st floor which are around $1000/month. All apartment's views are spectacular. Rent for all apartments includes heat and water, are cable ready, have air conditioning, and a dedicated cable for the front door camera.”
“Honestly I don’t understand why this apartment has this poor review rate. I’ve lived here 2.5 years by now and overall I like it a lot. I’ll elaborate pros and cons.
PRO 1: I always get a response from staffs within 24 hours through a resident portal or you can simply call them and talk directly. Every maintenance job has been done in a timely manner, usually within 1-2 days.
PRO 2: Their LG washer/dryer combo is LITERALLY A GAME CHANGER ??? This machine makes my life so much easier.
PRO 3: Needless to say, their location and cleanliness are worth every dollar.
CON 1: It varies by units. I moved from studio to one bedroom. I loved my first unit but the current one? Not really. DO NOT choose those units that have windows facing to the Under Armour building. Their windows are right above the street garbage dumpsters alley. Every morning you will be suffered from big trash collecting noises echoing between those tall buildings for an hour. Plus, the windows are so close to the other side of building windows… I bought $75 privacy window films from Amazon and attached to the windows. Problem resolved. If apartment staffs see this review, I’d recommend to give options to future tenants whether they want this privacy films or not and you install for them.
CON 2: Parking. But I don’t have a car. If you don’t have a car too, 100% recommended.
p.s. I saw another review about stolen package… I’ve never experienced it during my 2.5 year long stay here. BTW they also let you use a few carts available inside the dry cleaning locker room on the first floor. Use that cart if needed and just pick up your package in a timely manner. No problem.”
“I moved in the apartments recently. Dana was super helpful and took the extra time and effort to ensure I find a unit that met my specifications. Thank you! My apartment has a beautiful view of downtown. I appreciate that everyone working at the leasing office are very accessible and pro-active in resolving challenges.”

1600 Antietam Ave, Detroit“I’ve got to be honest. I was extremely nervous working for Quicken Loans and moving into my first place, but the leasing manager Lee is the absolute best. He and the team made the transition smooth and without question this has to be the best property downtown. They even gave us free KFC dinners and it’s only my second month here lol!! I highly recommend this place primarily due to the leasing manager...he gets it!”

“I have been living at the Jefferson apartments for 13yrs.
I have seen my share of managers and staff, but I have to give credit where it's due and the current staff are one of my favorites.
One stand out employee is office worker Tamika Thomas.
She is always very polite and helpful to me because I use a wheelchair.
She always makes me feel respected and looked after.
She has never been too busy to address any issues my family has had.
In my opinion Ms. Tamika is one of the most polite people to work in this building.
Anytime we had packages to be delivered or maintenance problems she was always willing to do what she could to resolve any problems even if it was nothing but some kind words to help ease the tension.
Ms.. Kim is also very pleasant yet professional.
When I come to talk to any of them she always has something funny to say just to keep up office morale or pass time.
They go out their way to make me feel welcomed when I enter the office or when we have social events on site
I have to admit I like them all because they are nice enough to actually listen to our concerns.
Mariah, the apartment manager is also very nice and I can tell that under her team a lot of the long time maintenance issues are finally being resolved.
My only real complaint is that I wish they were here years ago.
I bet that the Jefferson would be better than it was in its glory days because it would be obvious that people still care about the complex and the residents.
9 out of 10 for me.
Keep up the good work!”
“Had a great experience staff was courteous, tentative, and very knowledgeable about the property and history of the property. Have lived there before in the past will be moving back into available unit and not so distant future really appreciate the staff as they are courteous and very committed to their job.”
“I've lived here for 8 months at the time of writing. This is far and away the nicest place I've lived since moving to Detroit four years ago. TL;DR: The place is reasonably clean & quiet, it doesn't feel cheaply renovated, maintenance is handled well, management is responsive, and the neighborhood is reasonably quiet with good amenities. The grounds are kept reasonably clean, the apartments aren't falling apart the way you see many others around the city are, and maintenance has never been an issue. There are always issues with any rental, especially older buildings, but the issues here have been minor and have been handled so well that they aren't worth mentioning beyond that. I really can't stress it enough: I've been in various places while attending university, and all of them felt like they were just barely holding together, with at least one crippling issue (pipes freezing, showers breaking, mold issues,) cropping up every year. My apartment here doesn't do that. It doesn't feel like it could fall apart at any moment. They're low maintenance (on your end,) solid apartments.Management (especially Jeannette, who is on-site 5 days a week) has always been responsive to concerns & tries to be on top of things around the complex. The amenities in the neighborhood are worth mentioning: You've got two grocery stores just a block away, the Dequindre Cut is just a block away, and the Riverfront is easily reachable too. Downtown is a bit of a hike, but still perfectly doable. The area is reasonably quiet most nights, and your neighbors within the complex (from my experience) are too. The pool was renovated recently, at the time of writing. It's a good place to live.”
