Beware**********This company did a move for me on Friday and damaged a lot of my things. I Texted and spoke with the owner Mr weathers and he assured me it would be taken care of with his insurance company. Fast forward a couple days , Mr weathers phone has been disconnected or I’ve been blocked. What he didn’t know is that I am a fully sworn police officer and I have every resource at my disposal to find him and get an investigation started into his scam like business practices. If I do not hear from him soon, I will start my investigation into his business and make it my mission to get justice for not only myself but for all the other people he has done this too. If anyone has any information on this company and its owner please comment below with a way to contact you .

Affordable Muscle Movers’ (company) was reasonable and very responsive. They kept in touch as needed and let us know exactly when they would be arriving. The movers were professional and were good at the job.They did not waste anytime. I certainly would recommend them to family and friends.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!! Appt was at 8am, they showed up at 11:30am. The guys were tired and restless. It was 1 30 year old and two children(16&18). I have very bulky heavy/expensive furniture. After 4 hours moving and soon to be 3rd trip(They brought a small truck even though my list of items were sent previously), I stopped the move and called the owner Carlton. The young men broke my glass table, unwrapped my king size mattress and got it filthy, changed the color of my white sectional couch to beige, broke the corner off of my wood armoire and scratched the paint off of my vanity mirror. They handled my items very recklessly. The owner Carlton assured me that he would return the next day and complete the move. After numerous of calls/texts, It’s a no call no show for him. These guys are horrible….PLEASE BE AWARE!!!!Also, the driver of the truck proceeded to roll marijuana in my driveway before they left my premises.

SCAMMERS!! Do not ever trust this company or the person that goes by Carlton. He took a $325 deposit for moving services and disappeared. He never showed up for the services or returned the deposit or phone calls. They are complete frauds!!!

My experience with AMM was great. They were respectful and treated all my belongings as their own. They made sure to get everything out of the house without damaging anything. They were also friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend AMM to future movers

Had a great experience with my move! Scheduling was easy and they were quickly responsive. They took Venmo which was very convenient. They arrived early which was much appreciated and they were incredibly knowledgeable, self sufficient, friendly and efficient. I was very happy with AMM and would definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you!

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!Last year, my partner lived in a duplex and decided to use AMM to support local black businesses. They were great. They were fast, friendly, efficient, and relatively affordable. They moved heavy, expensive things with no problem. We had such a great experience, when it was time for me to move in with him this past May, we thought let's use them again! I was going to be out of town, so my partner took the reigns and met up with them to move my things. While out of town I got a call that things were going wrong...It was a DISASTER. I don't know if there's been a change in employees or management but these new movers did an awful job and the owner was rude and unhelpful. I previously lived in a studio apartment so I did not have a lot of stuff...a bed, couple dressers, kitchen stuff, boxes etc. but by no means anything expansive or intense.To start, the movers showed up LATE and seemed to be very high. They dropped my things, kept disappearing, and almost fell asleep multiple times?!?? My bf was very concerned! In the middle of the move they asked for a break and went to McDonalds and didn't return for an hour! When they finally came back, they were apparently even higher. Slurring. Not making sense. Falling over WITH MY THINGS in hand!It took over three hours for them to finally get done! And the worst part...my boyfriend happened to come back to the apartment for one last sweep and found THEY LEFT SOME OF MY BOXES IN THE HALL AND PEOPLE WENT THRU THEM : , (I literally still can't believe it.My boyfriend tried to get a refund/discount/anything and the owner randomly venmo-ed him $60 with no explanation, apology, or discourse. I got back in town and had to calm him down because he felt like he failed me :( it wasn't his fault! It was the movers being unprofessional and possible drug addicts.Lastly, I took it upon myself to call the owner since it was my things that were misplaced and ultimately stolen. The owner seemed disinterested and apathetic. He said he'd call me back and never did. Maybe he is on drugs too.I will never use this company again and more importantly, I'll never get back the things of mine that was STOLEN. There is nothing I can do about it other than warn others not to use this company for any sort of move.Awful experience, awful management, awful customer service, awful people. Say no to drugs. Say no to this company.

I hired these guys and paid a $200 deposit. We had a lot of trouble picking up our van from Uhaul, so we paid for their time as they went and got pizza for an hour. By the end of the day, I was so frazzled I paid them in cash for the whole job and completely forgot I had already paid the deposit. I called the next day to ask for the deposit back and the owner yelled at me and accused me of not paying the bill in full. It was insane. Never, ever use these guys. My friend also has used them (she didnt know about my experience) and they banged up her furniture and disappeared when she asked that they file an insurance claim.

The owner and team were professional, punctual, respectful, great customer service and on time with no time wasted. They made sure they handled my furniture well and successfully moved me to my new home. I didn’t used a moving company the last time I moved and I’m pleased to say that this company made my moving experience amazing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. The mover’s were very friendly. They moved my 500 lb printing machine up a flight of stairs, put the stand together and bolted the machine on top of the stand with no damages.
