In search of a custom tuxedo for my wedding, I went to many stores/chains and never felt satisfied with the experience until walking into 1701 Bespoke for my first appointment. Max clearly listened to what I wanted and helped to guide me through the process to make sure I got what I wanted, and that I look great for my wedding. The materials are incredibly high quality, and the fit is superb. They are the best fitting pants, shirt, and jacket that I have ever owned. I will certainly be a returning customer, having thoroughly enjoyed my experience for this tux.

Despite my inexperience and lack of knowledge when it comes to purchasing suits, Max was patient and provided me with a lot of knowledge in suits. He talked about the history to modern fashion/fabric choices and he informed me on what to look for when it comes to purchasing an ideal suit. Our conversation went on for 2 hours and Max was patient enough to explain the different types of fabrics involved, suit styles and a bunch of other topics. He even gave me book suggestions so I could improve my knowledge and know what to look out for in terms of quality.
I made my choices for fabrics/stylings and colors and I'm currently waiting for my suit. I've heard a lot of good things about 1701 Bespoke and I'm excited to receive my suit! : )

Truly outstanding experience. I enjoyed the time I spent at each fitting, learned about how my suits can fit better than the ones in my closet, and even learned how to better care for all of my menswear.As someone who wears a suit five days a week, I certainly appreciate the two new suits I bought and have moved them right to the front of the closet. My experience at 1701 was excellent. Max went above any beyond; helping me pick out the ideal fabrics and suit design. As someone who had never designed a suit before, he was very helpful and patient when it came to creating my design. Overall, I am extremely happy with the final product and will be recommending them to anyone interested in a custom suit!

I had a custom suit made for my wedding, which I'm also planning to wear to any other occasions needed. You can tell Max really cares about his craft, taking lots of time to educate me during fabric selection as well as caring for the suit once it was done.The suit itself is incredible - I have never felt quite right wearing an off the rack suit, even after alterations. But wearing one custom made is a different experience entirely, and I feel way more confident with how I look in a suit now. I can't wait to purchase some more custom pieces from Max!

Went to Max at 1701 Bespoke to design a custom tuxedo for my wedding. He was great and throughout the entire process was collaborative, communicative, honest and overall easygoing / fun to work with. When it came time to try on the final product, it turned out perfect on the first try - high quality materials, great design and exactly how I pictured it coming to fruition. Will definitely continue to use Max for future custom garment needs!
