I love bringing my pups here! The entire staff is so wonderful! They are all kind, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Dr. Houk is the best! She is extremely good at her job, very knowledgeable and just so great with my girls! All of my questions & concerns are always addressed and I feel comforted that my girls are receiving the best possible care.

Went to the vet with my new AKC registered puppy to get a checkup and some vaccines. I gave them my paperwork from the breeder that mentions everything one would need to know about the dog. In there profile for her they put her birthday down wrong and put my SAMOYED puppy as a BASENJI, don't know how that happened. At the first visit I mentioned she was dribbling pee, peeing a lot, licking herself, and nothing was done about it. My mom (not a veternarian) took a look and said it was a UTI. So I went back the next day and turns out mom was right, my new puppy had a very bad UTI. On top of the lack of care from the first visit, they charged me an for another exam when the doctor only came in to tell me the results, charged the full exam fee of $60. The reasoning was that she had her annual exam yesterday and need to reexam her for this visit. The doctor never came in to exam my puppy, the nurse had come in, we said it was a UTI then the nurse said would ask the doctor if she wanted the pee drawn from the bladder or just catch some when she peed. The only time the doctor came in was to tell us it was a UTI and she was sending us home with medication. Will not be going back as I was not listened to nor respected for having to come back for something they missed. My dog could have gone with an untreated UTI if my mom hadn't figured it out. Don't recommend since you have to already know what is wrong before they will do anything about any symptoms. If it had gone without treatment she could have died!

**Update** DANGER. they seem nice, but.... my HEALTHY 7 yr old great pyr DOG DIED less than 48hrs after her first appointment here. She could still be alive if Wiloughby vet had done their job. (explanation after my original review) ** I went in with high hopes since so many reviews claim good experiences. The exam cost about $50, but I heard other people paying both more and less. Their walls are paper thin. I heard one tech talking how he used to date the vet in college. A pet was being euthanized while I was in my appointment, I could hear the crying but also the joking around of all the staff. Things the staff said made me cringe on behalf of the greiving people in the other room. If I wasn't already in the appointment room, I may have left at that point and found a different vet. Navi was seen as a new patient as MSU's schedule for routine appointments was full. Navi got some shots, and when we checked out we first were handed someone else's bill, but the tech caught it fast enough. I noticed some of Navi's information had been taken down wrong, but the tech changed it in the computer to my satisfaction when I brought it up. Don't think I will go back-too many red flags. **UPDATE** Navi wasn't responding well shortly after our visit. We took her back in the next day and the vet kept her on an IV, did blood work and tests. I authorized them to do any and all tests to find out what was wrong. They sent her home about 4hrs later when they closed for the day, saying she was fine but had high kidney values that were concerning. Bring her back next week if she is still not well, they said. By 2am we had her in the MSU ER where they diagnosed her with antifreeze poisoning, advanced far enough that she had to be put down. The MSU doc said she must have been exposed within the last 2 days at most. When outside, Navi is always with me and my service dog, or on a leash outside with my daughter. She is very bonded to my service dog-they are never apart if they can help it. We also have 4 cats. If Navi got into antifreeze, all of the other animals would have the possibility of exposure. The only time Navi was not with me or inside with the other animals for the week before she died was at the vet. I was so worried that all the animals would die from antifreeze, I rallied the troops. we had all our friends and family scour the home, our property (10 acre hobby farm), the surrounding area, contacted everyone who had visited us, and made every effort to find the source of antifreeze. Nothing. Thank goodness none of the livestock, cats, or dogs other than Navi showed any signs of ill health. Sooooooo...........I asked Willoghby vet if she could have been exposed to ethelyne glycol while under their care. The response was, "Oh, she died? Ok, we will annotate her record" and they hung up. Zero concern. Zero compassion. Even if she wasn't exposed there, they should have caught it in time to save her. MSU claims the way Navi presented was textbook antifreeze poisoning and definitly not a vaccine reaction, it should have been caught when wiloughby vet did the organ testing. That was 24 hrs before MSU did their own tests. She could still be alive if Wiloughby vet had done their job. STAY AWAY from this vet. Never going back.

They are the best, the staff and doctors are amazing and they definitely show love and affection for our pets. I drive a hour to take my babies to see them. We love them. We also recommend them 100%. They even send text messages checking on our babies and letting us know about upcoming appointments.

They were so sweet to my kitty Grub! It was his first time going to the vet with me and he was very nervous (hence his scary little face). He was so good for them and they gave him lots of love and a treat! I appreciate the care for my boy!

Great place with great people! We have been going here for a year (moved from out of state) and they have been so welcoming! The staff are very informative and are very respectful and supportive, especially when it comes to talking about the hard truths of what is happening with your pet. Always quick to get my pups in if needed. Great prices as well.

This place isn't for the animals they don't even attempt to help. They talk to you like you are stupid and they hang up on you because they think you are yelling. Got news for you Kristen you never once heard me yell and Dr Houk ain't any better she lies and tried to say she did something for your per that never even took place and because I corrected her she said she would no longer see my pet. She actually pushed my dog away that was in active labor and made me drive over 2 hours away and pay double for her c section because it wasn't her surgery day! This place is a joke don't take your pet here. I'd give -0 stars if I could. Be careful who you let see your babies cause this vets only about money! Liars and incompetence is my experience here!
*Their response is laughable they are not compassionate and they are liars! They can't even look up the correct chart before speaking ? they help but made me drive over 2 hours away and pay double the price when my baby was in active labor and I lost a puppy due to that! I offered them double their normal price so I didn't have to drive and they told me no! I suggest definitely not taking your babies here!
