We had an exceptional experience with Mitchell from Saia Motor Freight. On the day of our scheduled delivery, tornado warnings forced us to send everyone home early. Despite the challenging circumstances, Mitchell demonstrated incredible professionalism and understanding. He arrived at our building and, upon learning that no one was available to accept the delivery, he kindly decided to take his lunch break right there, patiently waiting while we arranged for an employee to return to the site.
In less than 30 minutes, we had someone onsite to receive the delivery, but what stood out was Mitchell's willingness to go above and beyond his duties to accommodate us. His friendly demeanor and commitment to customer service were truly appreciated. The transportation industry could use more people like Mitchell, who not only get the job done but also show genuine care and flexibility in challenging situations.

The worst. Driver left 9 minutes after getting an approval from his dispatch. Left his bumper hooked. He would have lost it but I did the simpleton a favor. Do not use!

Absolutely satisfied with these guys, though I was worried after reading reviews. Communication was good, everyone was friendly, no delays on my shipment or delivery time, everything in perfect shape. The driver (I believe his name was Mike or Michael) was fantastic and went above and beyond in getting the two tall pallets into my mother's garage at the beginning of June, even helping to remove the lids so they would fit into the shorter space! The kindness and effort were much appreciated!

Driver made a DANGEROUS, sudden, last-minute left turn into a business on an extremely busy business trunk. Four vehicles had to brake extremely hard to avoid slamming into the tractor/trailer. Two cars slid several feet, skid marks apparent. Interestingly enough there was a large, open gap in traffic immediately after the four vehicles that almost hit him. He'd have had plenty of time to negotiate the turn, no problem, had he waited a minute. Not sure where his brain was at that moment?? Sincerely hope safety department addressed this.

Freight delivered 4 days late. Its impossible to get ahold of anyone at the terminal and they couldn't care less about your freight. Please avoid.

Charles from SAIA Dearborn freight delivery driver was awesome. We had a large delivery at work today - “Old World Nouveau”, and he kindly came in the store and asked where we would like the delivery. The pallet was way at the back of the freight truck and he had to move all other deliveries on the truck to get to ours. He was very kind, patient and friendly. He unloaded the boxes in our loading dock and took the pallet back as we requested.Nice to have a friendly delivery even though our area is filled with construction! Hope we have Charles for our future deliveries!Thank you to Charles! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My experience is not good been promised 5 days in a row that we would get the delivery and 5 days in a row our product has been on the truck but for some reason that no one can articulate we have not had the delivery

Although it was difficult to contact the company as per the tracking instructions, I was able to contact them via an office phone line and made the appointment for Friday. It was missed with no contact. I understand that the covid situation is causing some delivery difficulties, so I am not worried about the missed appointment and the item showed up early Monday morning. The driver was very polite. No damage to "car hood" upon inspection. All is good. I even gave him some $$ for lunch.

I was so worried about all the bad reviews against the co. but I did not have any issue at all having my delivery scheduled. The woman called me to verify a window for the delivery and it was great. The driver was polite and professional handling the order.Thank You

Worst company to deal with if you want something shipped make sure it's in a steel container cuz they damage your parts and will never return your calls when you file for a claim, and they are rip off and extra 5 days sitting in the yards when it's saying out for delivery then I get the part damaged.

I gave them 1 star but if I could I would give them -100. I ordered blinds from Levolor through Home Depot. Levolor choose to use Saia LTL Freight. I have waited 8 hrs, 6 hrs, one day and 2 hrs the next day. Both of these were promised deliveries times. I can see that this company should not be trusted at all with delivery dates and times. Talking to representatives on the phone I can see they know how to the apologize and be courteous but they cannot fix the problems of missed deliveries. Again waring do not use this shipping company. A word to the wise use FedEx or UPS, even the Post Office more reliable.
