This place is in business to rip innocent people off. I spent over $1500 for a 100,000 mile service and my car now sounds worse than I took it in. When I called to let them know, they said they never ran a diagnostics on it and that I should bring it back to spend more money. I am very disappointed and will never set foot in that place.

Had a request from the owner to follow up on a previous review . Went there today August 21, 23 . They were defensive and not interested . I mentioned the problem with the ignition coil is a design flaw , and he said that then it is not our fault . That i should contact Honda . He also said that he has NEVER seen a coil broken apart like that . I had to explain to him that it is a 2 piece coil and that I pulled it apart to see the burned spring . They have no interest and are clueless

Our purchase day was annoying. We had been pre-approved for a specific rate with CapitalOne but it took over an hour of pointless back and forth to give it to us. Two weeks after the sale, both my spouse and I received a nasty phone call from LaFontaine. They called in the middle of our work days on a Tuesday and demanded we show up to their Dearborn location within 6 hours with a certified check. Their tone and language was threatening. They are at fault for waiting a week to deposit our check and then refusing a wire transfer. We offered a wire transfer again and it was done in a couple hours. Our credit scores are over 800, there was no need to get nasty. Car shopping is a dreaded task. Don't make your worst fears come true by shopping with Lafontaine. There are plenty of other choices.

The people in the spare parts department are rude. What do you benefit from when you annoy the customer? I bought parts from them for $1,200, and after two days the parts did not fit my car I went to return half of the quantity and they were upset about this. Why are you upset when you told me at the beginning that I could return whatever I wanted within a month. It was not a good experience.

This company is very unreliable and not very trustworthy. I've had issues where management lied to me. I had an issue that I needed help with. I contacted the general manager, Mike Law, who did not want to help me. He said he would check into the issue and never called back and would not answer my calls. Their collision shop which is in Redford, had my vehicle for over a month. They did lousy work on the repairs, plus their employees took my car, without my permission, and put about 150 miles on it, used up my gas, and damaged my vehicle while they were joy riding around in it. The vehicle had to be taken back to the dealer 3 times, but they are less than 10 miles away. Where did they drive to put the other 100 miles????!The manager there, Sylvia Abdel, said she would replace the damaged part. Never happened. All she did was make an empty promise. That is so unprofessional. I would give this company negative starts if I had that option. You cannot trust them!!!
