Didn't have the reservation they accepted or any cars. Employee was incredibly rude considering they were not able to fill my reservation. Its like the SNL skit. Disaster

Literally no stars if I could. I made a reservation 2 months in advance for an extra large vehicle to have for a week; please keep in mind that not all locations carry this size vehicle. I get there to pick up my car and the young man behind the desk was clearly overwhelmed. When he asked me did I make this reservation within the last day or so I knew it was a problem. I was told they didn’t have my vehicle and was given a number to reservations so that they could locate a vehicle for me. Customer service was worst then the location. I was told to call around to different locations to find my own vehicle! Then I was advised to cancel my reservation and book another one. Needless to say after calling and calling no one had that size vehicle. I had to rent through another company and wait for the refund from Hertz. I was not compensated in anyway and when I canceled the reservation the rep attempted to tell me there would be a cancellation fee. Absolutely not.

The worst service I received 3 times I arrived at the location and didn't get a car even though I made a reservation the attitude was cold and the answers were nonsensical everyone who reads this comment do yourself a favor and don't go near this place

Do not use this location. They will fraudulently charge you, and will send the false charges to collections if you do not pay, even after the credit card company sides with you on the dispute.

Im just tryna call for info someone keeps picking up and hanging up then when they did answer he put me on hold just to comeback every ten minutes to say hold again after 30 minutes I gave up after reading these comments I don’t understand why this location is still open get a whole new staff clearly nobody wants to work bad business

Do yourself a huge favor and avoid doing business with this Hertz location. The staff here clearly does not understand the concept of 'customer care.' My insurance company made a reservation on my behalf for a replacement car, and I confirmed it. I called the rental agency four times over two days to confirm the reservation and arrange a pick-up from the collision repair body shop after dropping off my car. Two representatives assured me that my reservation was confirmed and that a car would be sent to pick me up.
I planned accordingly, dropped off my car, and waited for about 15 minutes. When no one showed up, I called the Dearborn Hertz location. One employee claimed there was no reservation under my name, while another said he saw the reservation but that they had no cars available and no one was coming to pick me up. When I asked if they could arrange a pick-up from another Hertz location, they said it was not possible. As a result, I had to take an Uber and travel another 23 miles to get a rental, causing me to miss two important meetings and half a workday.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient. Customers do not deserve this kind of treatment. I have filed a formal complaint with Hertz and sincerely hope they take action against such irresponsible local agents. I also hope this location either improves its service drastically or goes out of business soon.

By far the WORST experience i’ve ever had with any company. I made a reservation online 4 days in advance, with my debit card. I went to pick the vehicle up and they told me that my same debit card did not pass a credit check (then why did they take my $400 off the same card??). Denied me a car, ruined my vacation where i had to sit in my hotel and do nothing for 5 days and it’s been 3 months since this has happened and i still haven’t got my money back or even someone at customer service to give me a direct answer. I will absolutely never ever come back to Hertz for the rest of my life. The financial burden they have stuck on me the last 3 months has ruined my summer.

Not enough employees working the checkouts and check-ins. One guy trying to do it all. There's other employees walking around, but not doing anything towards the back log of customers. Village Ford sent me here because they didn't have any loaners. This is really terrible.

Worst experience ever, I booked a Tesla 3 long range which is supposed to give you 356 miles per charge and gives you access to all Tesla super charging stations, instead they claim that they don't have long range anymore, and they gave me Polestar 2 which barely makes it to 210 miles, smells cigarettes and both my parents have asthma, Hertz didn't even bother to clean it well so they get rid of the smell, last time to use Hertz

After being stranded at DTW Airport we rented a vehicle to drive back to the Washington, DC area. It was standing room only, as many of us were trying to rent a car due to canceled flights. Mo was extremely friendly and professional. He worked very hard to get everyone a vehicle. Thank you Mo for making a stressful situation go smoothly.

Had reservation at 3, get here early and waited in line 30 mins. Need an express desk for customers with reservations. When I was done, they didn't have a clean car ready for me anyway. Lack of organization and customer service. Would not recommend.
UPDATE: Finally leaving after 4pm. Took an hour to pick up a car I reserved in advance. Shambolic.

‼️WARNING‼️Do not give this business your card information! I made a reservation here and when I arrived, they told me they did not have a vehicle for me. They then charged me $53 days later and attempted again while I was on the phone with the fraud department on my credit card. Hertz said they have no record of charging me but the charge on my bank statement says it came from this place. The only explanation I have is that an employee/manager is stealing information. The company and the business never answer their phones to explain. I was only able to talk to an employee with Hertz through the chat. Hertz is a terrible company but this location is corrupt.

LET. ME. TELL. YOU. About this place. First and foremost, customer service has NEVER stepped foot in this establishment at all. The “Branch Manager” was extremely bland and uninterested in assisting with any needs. I waited for over 2 hours for them to “prep” my rental, when I made the reservation a whole day prior.
During their prep time, I was told the vehicle was going to be washed and brought to me. All they did was spray soap water on the vehicle and brought it to me covered in straight up soap, leaving the entire vehicle covered in caked up soap streaks. In addition, the vehicle had a horrible smell of marijuana in the car. So, sufficed to say, I won’t be returning to this place ever again.

People are friendly. They made sure I had a safe, secured vehicle. Check-in and out were quick. I would use them again, highly recommend.

I booked my rental and got a legit confirmation back. My whole plan was sorted out. I needed the car for a week and as soon as I landed at the airport I rushed towards the agency and gave them a call on my way as a headsup only to realize that “they are fully booked up”. They ruined my whole plan and messed up with me big time! They have no idea about the financial, operational and moral implications they have cause to me. Worst service ever! Not recommended… I used them once last week and thought they were good but after what they did to me, will never go back!
