Have no idea what they’re doing. Came in to get rear wheel bearing replaced and front brake adjusted. Had to come back for the brakes as the issue wasn’t “fixed”. Cassette breaks same day as it wasn’t reinstalled properly. If you value your time and money, go somewhere that isn’t reselling trashed Walmart bikes for way over retail prices…

Eddie got me right, I blew my e bike tire out going under that bridge on michigan and Schaefer. I was just trying to make it my destination on joy n Schaefer. I walked with my bike a couple miles n just happened to see his spot. Went in dropped my bike off , came back and he fixed the tire, adjusted my breaks and oiled my chain. 5 star service.

They did a great job fixing the brakes on both of my bikes thoroughly, quickly, and at a reasonable price for my holiday weekend. I will definitely be returning to them in the future.

I bought a used bicycle, for back up transportation, at the very low end of the economy range, at Eddie's Bike Shop. Riding it over 20 miles, it demonstrated unfailing mechanical functioning.
They were out of pedal extenders, yet, they did have pedal-crank size adapters, and a pair of very effective metal pedals with square spikes (including spikes in the middle of the pedal), that fit the adapter. The effect of this suggested configuration was completely satisfactory.
The value of extending the area of foot placement, to increase the flexibilities of positioning, seems to be generally underestimated.
As does the value of metal spiked pedals (and with spikes in the middle of the pedal, too) to secure those positionings. (Especially for those that ride on the pedals.) (And, especially, those that ride on their forefoot ("ride on their toes")).
Eddie's Bike Shop was able to address these concerns.
The shop may seem a bit off the beaten track, and many of us may have our list of disappointments, yet, it was pleasure to have visited Eddie's Bike Shop. For me, it is an interesting place, and a valuable tool.

I can say that I absolutely Love Eddie & Mike the Brothers that run Eddies famous bike shop. It’s like going in a Time Machine to back in the day when they built bikes and lived bike culture. This is their passion and they have decades and decades of experience. True masters at their craft. They always give the best deal and sell and work on everything themselves. They sold me a beautiful 1961 Raleigh Western Flyer with a 3 speed rare shifter for a great price tuned it up for me and helped my best friend build her 3 wheeler and beat other stores by over 125.00$ to fix it. This is the best bike shop I ever been too .

Great experience!!! They did a quality repair at very fair price. I was so impressed with them that I went back a week later and purchased a mother spare bike.
