I called for roadside assistance at 8:20 this morning. It is now 11:55 and I have not had a dispatch yet
So I just got off the phone for the fourth time with the local AAA towing service and they still have not received the dispatch from AAA. I expected more from AAA as I have been a member for over 40 years and never had any trouble with the service until now. I have better things to do than wait for a tow that may not come. If you are considering joining AAA then I urge you to reconsider as they are not what they used to be.

AAA is by far the worst company this far. I have been waiting more than 2 months for my $45 refund and I keep getting the run around. Everyone passes the buck but no one is accepting accountability. I will switch companies because I'm not valued as a customer. #AAAsucks.

On May 14, 2024, I noticed that AAA had charged $103 to my credit card without my authorization for a renewal of membership service I'd purchased a year prior. I called immediately and they agreed to refund the charge and cancel the service. But, they never did as they promised.
During this call, AAA suggested I should have canceled online, but this is not possible. AAA also suggested that I could have removed my payment information online, but this was also impossible.
When I checked today, the AAA membership accounts were closed, but they really seem to want to keep my money.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON AAA ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE. I have membership and will not renew. My 4x4 truck broke down. Called AAA so far they have tried 4 towing companies over the past 5 hours and each one could not tow my truck. The only way u found out was when I called the companies directly. No contact from AAA about any of the companies that could not tow my truck.

I needed a tow stuck in the snow yesterday 1/20/2023 .Received two automated calls saying I was in the cue for rescue driver never showed up waited four hrs. know aaa service. I decided some months ago to have a back up plan. I purchased allstate roadside assistance from aarp. I'm glad I did they sent out a rescue asap know run around spoke with a live agent not a voice command garbage like aaa. I'm seriously thinking about switching my car insurance over to allstate because when .I need assistance Allstate is there.

Do not waste your money, AAA cannot do simple tasks. A simple road assistance call to get a tow in the freezing cold was too much for them to handle. After calling 1/11/24 from 4:45pm to Amanda, Carol, Bonnie, Shannon and manager Keanna, no one could figure out how to help me with a towing. Had to call my own service 5 hours later and AAA still avoiding the bill. They are a rip off and I will spread the word to have people cancel and save waste of time and money. AAA cannot do their SIMPLE job clearly.

Not surprised at all with the ratings and reviews and I am NOT EVEN A TRIPLE A MEMBER! We have been waiting for 2 months on a refund we are owed for a tort claim we filed in November to get our deductible back. They have had all info needed to process this for 2 months. Our vehicle was at a complete stand still and was rear-ended and then pushed into another vehicle. 100% the Triple A drivers fault. No reason this should have taken longer then the time it took to read the police report.

My family and I have been enduring in our dealings with AAA. On August 12, 2023, an incident occurred that has left us grappling with not only the damages to our property but also the lack of support from our Claims Agent over the past three months. The gravity of our situation is exacerbated by the presence of young children and a stroke victim in our household. Regrettably, for months, we have been unable to use essential household appliances, including our washer, dryer, water heater, furnace, water filtration system, and various other basement-based appliances. Adding to our woes, our contractor is threatening to file a lien against our property due to unpaid fees for services rendered. In an effort to address this, we consulted our mortgage representative, who advised us to remit the $1,000 deductible to our contractor, a payment we promptly made. Despite two inspections to assess damages, our attempts to engage with our Claims representative have been fruitless. False assurances, pending paperwork excuses, and significant delays have characterized our interactions. Moreover, the information provided by AAA Management regarding a partial payout was not only delayed but also insufficient to cover the restoration of all damaged items. Despite multiple attempts to communicate, we have faced significant delays in completing necessary repairs and obtaining reimbursement for our losses. The situation has escalated to the point where legal action and the imposition of a lien on our property are being considered by our contractor due to AAAs delays and misinformation. We appeal to AAA Supervisors and Upper Management to expedite the resolution of this matter, as the impending legal actions pose a severe threat to our property. Your prompt attention to this issue is crucial, and we implore your assistance in bringing about a swift and satisfactory conclusion to this unfortunate situation. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.

They should not have any stars period. My mother, aunt, and brother were coming in to town from another state to visit me in Michigan. They were 4 hours away from me and my mother's truck had a ABS Light appear. The truck would not move. My mother called AAA and they told her that her and my Dad's membership was canceled. My mother was confused because the bill is always paid for and they just received the monthly magazine. My aunt called since she has the classic membership. (I have the same membership). The first call said it would be a longer wait time then usual. When the rep came on the phone they asked the usual questions. Once my aunt told them that they were stuck in Louisville the lady said oh I need to transfer you to the Kentucky line. Once transferred it said main menu so my aunt had to start back over. Once a rep picked up the 2nd time, same procedure of questions and once again my aunt said we are stuck in Louisville and the rep said let me transfer you to the Kentucky Line. We were just transferred SMH. The 3rd and final attempt another rep came on the phone and my Aunt instantly said we are stuck in Louisville. Again, the rep said the same thing, "Let me transfer you to the Kentucky Line". My aunt said we were given the run around and the rep reassured that she will transfer them to the proper state and she will stay on the line. As soon as the dial tone came up a recorded message said we are currently closed. LOL. You mean to tell me that a 24 hour so-called service is closed. This company is indeed, "Absent, Aggravating, Abandoners (AAA)". Also, the website to request for assistance was malfunctioning. Looks like the IT team needs to work on the issues on their end. Thankfully, my family called a tow truck close by and received service. AAA needs to do right or they will get left (customers leaving).

I'm on the phone with them more than any business or person. Constant billing errors. Latest on is that I owe $15 on homeowners policy that I paid 3 months ago, then just paid again with the AAAcredit card. I've been on hold for 25 minutes waiting to talk to them. I paid for policy in full at beginning of term, so I thought.

Surprise $1000 monthly bill after several calls to my assigned agent about needed documents went unanswered and unreturned. Literal trap by getting me a "deal" on a reasonable montly quote that automatically deducted for 2 months before the 3rd month surprised me with my entire checking account gone, overdrafted into my savings.

This roadside service is a joke. Nothing is done in a timely fashion. I've had two service calls placed in less than 30 days and it has taken hours and rolled over into the next day. Both times resulting in me missing work. I contacted the better business bureau and someone did get back to me the first time and all she could offer me is $70 AAA dollars and for her to take my tow off. She told me I couldn't pay me for my days of work and that's crap. Because we pay for these services to insure we have ample time to make it where we need to be and to be safe. I suggest anyone who has them to cancel your policy and find someone else this place is a whole joke.
