My first time purchasing chicken I wanted 10 pounds chicken quarter legs so they gave it to me in a bag filled with water & said to buy it that way to save money & that it’s the same thing. The chicken had so much fat to be removed & so much time consuming so it wasn’t worth the saving. My second purchase I needed boneless chicken thighs & decided to give it a second try to save myself a trip while I was there buying their spices cause they do have the best spices in town. That evening I went home & put the chicken in the fridge. The next day I opened the bag to clean the chicken & cook it but it smelt so bad that I couldn’t get rid of the stinky smell even after soaking it with vinegar. Raw Chicken in the fridge are good for 1-2 days I just wonder how long was it in their fridge before I purchased it. I gave 2 stars because as I mentioned about their amazing spices.

Every time I visit Hashems, the staff is welcoming and super fast. I get this sandwich because it's always fresh. If you know, you know that you can't skip the raw meat tartar (malsa sandwisha) pita wrap. Tip: Don't add the veggies, just salt and olive oil.

Been coming here for years always nice. And I could always get 2 to 3 pds ground lamb meat when I came in. Now twice i've come in and they're telling me I need to buy a leg of lamb and that they Don't have any ground nor will they ground any for me Odd but will Not Be Back very unfortunate

Amazing one stop shop. Everything they make is clean, fresh, and delicious. MJ in the butcher’s section is friendly, kind, and welcoming. He makes the experience enjoyable.
