“Not really a "dollar store" because most of the goods are well over a dollar.But if you are looking for quick convenience, Dollar General is pretty good.Over the years, Dollar General has added a lot of brand name groceries, so it's kinda like an inexpensive 7-Eleven.... but with friendly staff.Probably the best part about Dollar General is that they carry Munchoes! I don't know why, but no place seems to stock them any more (the kid at Speedway said they 'stopped making them'). They are one of the only foods my mom eats, so I'm glad she can still get her daily nutrition from the General.”

“I remember when I first moved here it was Family Dollar, a couple months converted to Dollar Tree, it’s been around 5-6 years and still stands one of the best convenience places to grab items and go. I’ve been living near Inkster for some time. It’s very clean, and well stocked. Every time I go, I always find what I need. “Ok yes its becoming my best place ever to shop ,and they open at 8am so when I take the grandkids to school I just stop in at the nearest one and get whatever is on sale and what I need they have everything cheaper then most stores and did I mention they open at 8am lol ? I love this store very nice, all they need is a public bathroom, because when your shopping sometime you just gotta go or leave your items and come back later ?.But really go check it out .Really great deals on chips and cereal also medicine for the kids. And sometimes you just want to go in a smaller store for quick items.”

“The Location: This Dollar General is in prime location plenty of parking off a very busy street. It is easily visible and easily accessible.The Brand: Dollar General has come up, I think they first came out in 2004 or five! they have been an asset to the community since inception.The Team: As with any establishment the teams (employees) are a hit or miss. likewise, the employees can set or break the atmosphere and customer experience. At this location I have had a good experience with no complaints. although they don’t hire enough employees on staff every time I go in, because we are often waiting five or 10 minutes at the register to check out.The prices: Dollar General has awesome prices in comparative to Family Dollar and Walmart. I still have to go to Walmart because of their availability of some products while Dollar General has some items that are at the right price.Lacking a star because the floors are absolutely filthy? whereas the shelves are stocked they will not pass a white glove inspection!”

It is New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31, 2023 around 4:15 PM. A young man by the name of Chris was working as a cashier and he gave me the most exceptional and welcoming service ever. This young man was so warming and calm! He has the spirit that would turn your bad day into a good day! Chris, I hope that your manager sees this the district manager or even the regional because you need some sort of recognition for being the great person that you are and I hope that the company sees the value you bring! I know that your future will be bright whether it’s with Family Dollar or the next company because you’re characteristics showed me that! “This family dollar isn't the best, but then again what is. It has it's problems. Yes, Gary can be a bit much at times. And the store sometimes doesn't have what others want, but you expect to always find what your looking for all the time. The world isn't perfect. But overall the store is always clean, organized, and most of the workers are nice.”
