Avoid this Speedway Store 4019 N State Rd, Davison Michigan, bad Store operations.
Worst customer service experience from the Assistance Store Manager. Refer to the store video at 3 pm on 7-15-2024.
Actually I recommend watching all the store videos, for possible bad customer service experience. Had 5 employees in the store from my visual count. Customers were lining up deep. Only one register is open. Tried to pay for items with card kiosk (credit and debit) several times and ways. Assistance Store Manager appeared to be training new employee. But she was the one with the attitude, escalated, pushing her face towards me, refer to video. I was about to pay with cash. The Assistance Store Manager yelled, "We had a power outage, and I'm telling you that!" We back away, walked away to deescalate her aggressive behavior, refer to video. If I did what this Assistance Store Manager did, my employer would have fired me.
You don't treat customers like that and do not escalate anger and attitude in a customer service business. I informed the Assistance Store Manager, and I'll be notifing the Store Manager. She threatened and yelled, "Go head, her name is Kelly!"
With that statement, appeared Store Manager and Assistance Store Manager are over familiarity.
I called Speedway/ 7-11 Corporate Offices and filed a complaint.
Recommend shopping at Marathon across the street. Way better customer service, kiosks work, and no lines. By the way, they got our money.

Trainee not being watched which means all pay at pump transactions are timing out due to not being approved from inside, so in cold, wet rain we had to go in and pay and stumbled over another employee who was hiding behind a food aisle texting on her phone while the trainee and cashier were both swamped with people
Then when asked about the pump issue, she made up a story about the weather being the problem when clearly the pump had stated that it was waiting on cashier authorization.

I stopped yesterday at 6 pm the pump wouldn’t take my card / told me to go inside and the little dark haired girl working the register (not wearing a name tag- I assume purposely) gave the absolute worst attitude possible and thought it was funny to continue the sass throughout our transaction.

Always so clean and calm over here. This side of town in general is pleasant. I live over on the south end of Flint so this is nice to me.

Food selection here is horrible. Come in after 6pm and even the roller grill is empty. Why bother having it if the workers are to lazy to keep items on it?
