Me and my family went to Meijer for the first time the other day, and it was the most UNCOMFORTABLE experience we ever had in any store! It felt like we didn't belong, and judging by the looks of many, we weren't welcomed either. We cut our shopping down to just a handful of items and got out of there quickly! To make a long story short, the atmosphere felt heavy, awkward, and sinister. If it weren't for the polite cashier and nice bagger this store would've gotten ZERO stars. Immediately after getting home I did some research on Meijer........IT ALL MADE SENSE!

I love Meijer, especially because I live across the road from it. The staff there are really nice and they have some really good sushi. Usually busy most days but still amazing.

The remodel made it a lot easier to get through the store so it's improved the experience. Generally decent interactions with the staff

I live near two other Meijers, this ones layout is my least favorite so far. IDC how new you make it look inside. The layouts a mess. I hate being forced to walk all over just to do simple shopping. Everything feels horribly organized. Whoever they hired to design this location should be fired.

There have been many improvements made in the layout of the store. I think taking away a huge portion of the store is a waste. They have cordoned off a huge section just to dedicate it to sorting for the people who choose to NOT COME IN TO THE STORE!!! First the customers have to check themselves out and then you have to SHOW YOUR RECEIPT to some flunkie to prove you have scanned and paid for everything. If you DO NOT TRUST US, PUT THE CASHIER'S BACK ON DUTY!!!!! STOP INSULTING YOUR OWN CUSTOMERS!!!!

I love going to meijer but it's always that one worker with short ,dark curly hair following me. Every time I look up he's around. I go from one side of the store and he's in my aisle. He never has anything in his hand,or doing his duties. Or he'd fake like he's doing something. This happened a hand full of times with only him tbh. That experience made me a bit uncomfortable. Felt like saying " I'm not shoplifting, please relax "
Other than that, I love meijer and their employees!
