Extremely unorganized and short staffed everytime I go in. I was gonna apply to help but then heard several workers gossiping about other workers to customers. I heard from other people they treat employees very poorly here which makes sense because they are always so short staffed and looking to hire people constantly! Ive never seen a dollar general more unorganized and dirty then this place is. Everytime I go in you can't even get down some of the isles because they have things blocking them or stuff that hadn't been put on the shelfs yet just blocking the isle ways. Its a shame really because it's so convenient to have right by where I live but I'll just take the extra 5 minutes and drive down to kroger from now on until they get it together at this store.

This store used to be so clean and organized. It is a hot mess with carts and trash in the isles. Corporate needs to pony up and hire some people. This store is as much of a dump as Ortonville now.

I don't know what's going on with this location but apparently dollar general cannot get a decent manager to run the store both managers in the last 10 months anytime I'm in the store all's I hear is complaining about employees customers don't want to hear about your staffing issues it looks very unprofessional o shouldn't over hear a manager discussing someone else's personal business with a customer the setting in this store is very unprofessional with this Karen lady that says she's the manager

Krista is the only young lady that works. I've watched managers walk out of the store with 10 people waiting in line. I also watched another manager come help one customer and walk away with 15 customers in line. She said sticking was more important. Krista deserves a raise. I went in there to specifically ask for her name. Even with being understaffed at the register, she is always polite and eager to help. She gets 5 stars from me the store and managers need to do better. Thank you Krista for being the light of Dollar General in Springfield Township

Ashley was super helpful and went out of her way to find me exactly what I needed. Above and beyond with their customer service! I was soo happy with my experience there. The best Dollar General!!

New employees are rude especially the manager! the store is always crowded with boxes and u-boats full and blocking things that are needed, nothing on shelves if they decide to actually open that day and don't think about calling they have their ringer off so they can't hear the phone, I know this from calling the store multiple times with no answer made it there called from inside and nothing when the employees were in back room, God forbid there's an emergency hope the employee has a cell phone with good signal.

This store needs to close at least a week to get there stuff together. Was in there today and there are stock CARTS all over the store you can barely get down the aisles not safe to have kids there or at this point NO ONE THERE IS NOT and this is not the first time with the carts not enough employees to stock run the store have somebody at the counter it's sad i love this place but will not come back for a while ?

Most employees are nice, but some are either passive aggressive or just plain rude. Stopped in today to grab some cold medication, there was an older lady if front of me standing there waiting to be helped at a register that was closed. The cashier walks up and the lady asks her if she's in the right spot, that's when the cashier points at the sign and says "what does this sign say?" In a rude tone as she proceeded to the open register. When she finishes up with her I start putting my stuff on the counter and the cashier says to me and my boyfriend something about us not using the self checkout. My boyfriend informed her that we are purchasing cold medication which usually calls for and ID, but he would be happy to use the self checkout and have her come over anyways to check our ID. This is when she starts scanning the medication and says to us "hmm this one doesn't need an ID, neither does this one." At this point my boyfriend and I are getting irritated because she's being super passive aggressive and rude. My boyfriend tells her she's rude and he would appreciate if his cashier didn't act the way she was acting. She got defensive and became super passive aggressive at this point as if she was trying to be overly nice to compensate for how rude she was from the minute she walked up to the lady before us. Your job is customer service. Do better.

Clothing from $5.00-$10.00 . Foods. Toys. Seasonal Decorations. DVD and Blu-Ray movies. Even stuff you didn't think they would carry! Yup.
