“This is by far the best grocery store in a 50 mile radius of it's location. The produce is always very nice. There is an extraordinary amount of unique products that simply can't be found anywhere else. Most of all, the meat department is not only gifted, they are careful to offer valuable and good quality meat products for much less than the surrounding stores. They know what they are doing and they do it well. They aren't simply packaging items for sale, they are thinking about your table, your family experience, and they try very hard to do great work.”

“Honestly though they seem to be in need of just one extra hand around the store most days, the staff is always pleasant and partakes in small talk during check out. There's always new items coming and going so I try to stop in occasionally even if I qasnt set on a item because I usually walk out with something I mean it's a couple dollars right? During the Halloween season they had these really cool eyeball flower decoration, its held up through 2 toddlers so not bad for its price and its pretty, it stays in the living room now. Another notable and recent purchase was the shoe eraser for its price I expected a sponge with little to no affects without soap or something, but as you can see it did the job and then some, we decided to test how far it can go, we're in the process of completing the second pair of shoes! We got 2 others in case it goes that far.”

“I usually go to Dollar general monthly and spend 200, but no more! Went to FD I had a lot of heavy stuff and I'm a old lady?, The lady helped me load my car, the tiny one I think she was supervisor, Last time I went to DG, had lot of heavy stuff and one of the employees was outside standing watching me struggle with my stuff”

“This store always gets better in the winter when other employees come from other stores to help with the holidays. And to be honest, idk if the newer employees were just extra help for that reason or if they are permanent employees, but hopefully, the latter because this location got better with the new additions. Recently, I was here to deposit cash to cash app, and the self checkout was open, but I needed an employee for this transaction, so I went to a cash register with a person. There was no one in line, but an older lady got behind me and started putting all of her stuff on the counter out of her cart. This doesn't bother me with anyone, especially at Dollar General, because it's normal and not a big deal. But then she incessantly complained about my transaction taking too long. And she got progressively more and more angry. The dude behind the counter couldn't ignore it any longer, as I doubt anyone could have. But he handled it perfectly, and not in a rude way, and there just was no talking sense to this lady. In the middle of him apologizing to her, when truthfully, this guy deserved the apology, she stormed out red-faced and full of crazy anger. I will never understand how something like that could make someone so angry. This event just stuck out in my mind so I felt like it was relevant to a review. Any store with employees with integrity makes that store better among stores. And as dollar generals go, this location is clean.”
