I am so glad I was referred to the team at Greg Hoover-State Farm. I save a great deal of money on my home and auto insurance plan and ended up with much better coverage!! The customer service was top notch with quick turn around for my new coverage. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable in helping me! 5 stars!!!!

I was insured for 10 years through progressive. Had to get a new car after being stranded on the highway for hours and then told it would be almost 2k to tow home 120 miles and progressive said they had no help. My wife was insured through the Hoover agency and had it been her car we would have saved a weeks worth of headaches. Justine in Greg's office was swift in getting my new car full insurance for $25 less than progressives bare bones policy quoted. I in the past was a discount seeker and paid the price. State farm has impressed anytime we've had a home claim and car issues with my wife's car and I am happy to have switched and found as a discount seeker that they have better rates than the discount market.

Lesson be learned, I should have printed my quote instead of expecting everything to be on the up and up, now of course it's unavailable via the initial links provided.The multi policy total once payments started was much higher than quoted. Expect very pleasant service and a helpful attitude from the queen of the office up until you sign, then expect shortness, rushed conversations, and not much support when questions arise.I would hate to find out what filing a claim through this office is like.Canceled after 15 days and went back to my old insurance company.

We were having issues with our claim on our truck that was vandalized. We thought it would be easier to talk to our agent. They did not even attempt to explain what was going on with the claim. Anytime in the past, we could call our agent and they would try to help and clarify what was going on. Nothere. We are new to Greg Hoover agency and Michigan but not state farm. Wife has been with state farm for almost 24 years. This office is a huge disappointment. Time to move on

Well I went in for insurance on my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. Well it was so awesome I thought it was going to coast me a fortune. Well I walked out with PLPD WITH COMP & RENTERS INSURANCE & $10,000.00 IN LIFE INSURANCE.. READY ALL OF THIS FOR $136.00 to start an then in a wk or so going to add life insurance on my boyfriend. So we both are covered.... THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE STATE FARM EMPLOYEES....

This is the second time in a year and a half that this agency has actually cost me money.. the first time there was no follow thru crediting my account and after 2 month of being charged too much and unfulfilled promises I was only given credit for one month.Several times I have left a message requesting a return call and they just dont seem to ever return a call. I have been on auto pay and on a couple.of occasions in probablly 5 yrs I've ask them to stop the auto pay for that payment and ONE day was sufficient . 6 days ago at 8 am I requested to have them hold the auto payment.. This morning at 3am I receive a notification from my bank that State farm submitted the payment and my account is now over drawn! Called the 24hour service and the agent was super kind and understanding but she wasn't authorized to do anything about it. She said she was sending them a fully detailed message and told them to call me. She said if I didn't hear from them by noon to give them a call.. At 130 pm I still hadn't heard from them so called and spoke to "Justine" who was rude and indifferent. Her voice was condescending and She told me I didn't request timely altho past requests only required 1 day. She asked if I did not no prior to 6 days ago that I was going to be short this month and I could tell that her by indifference that she would not bother to help the situation.I asked if I could speak to someone in charge and she responded that she was. I am not happy, and totally unsatisfied with the complacent disregard shown to me with my concerns by this office.I am a disabled senior citizen on a limited income. [Social security]. This has been unnecessarily stressful for me.My family has been with State farm for as long as I can remember.. and have always received stellar treatment..Sydney from Greg Hoover is always kind and helpful and I give props for that.I have escalated this issue and requested transfer of State Farm agencies.My rates at this office did not decrease when Michigan laws changed. Actually my rates have increased.Time will tell if I stay with State Farm or move to a completely different insurance provider.As for the Greg Hoover Agency, NO, I do NOT recommend this office.They are NOT the "good neighbor" State Farm advertises to be!

I have been a customer of theirs for years. Unfortunately, this office's customer service for me has really gone downhill. Unresponsive to my emails, and requests for someone to review my policy with them. Just had yet another frustrating call to their office as I follow up yet again asking for somebody there to care that I am considering going elsewhere.
