My husband and I recently bought a house and it needed immediate carpet replacement. We shopped around to some big box flooring options as well as a couple of local businesses. The customer service at West River Flooring was far superior to any place we had been. They were helpful and not pushy at all. Their prices were similar, but they had many more options of carpet in the shade we were searching for. We took a few samples home to visualize the carpet in each room. What really sealed the deal for us was the timing. They were able to get our carpet replaced weeks before any other company. The 1200sq ft of bedrooms and living rooms we had done (carpet/old pad removal + installation of new pad and carpet) took about 5-6 hours. Overall very positive experience with West River Flooring. My experience with WRC was amazing. From the first experience in the showroom and Erin showing the options, to her expert input and options when I asked for her opinion! We only had to wait a few days then installation was top notch. The installers did a great job as noticed by us the home owners and the Linoleum guy we hired after the carpet was installed. The installers were kind and patient as I asked (probably 1 million) questions and gave me confident answers with the reassurance of "we got this". When there was a slight mis-communication issue between the measurer/order/installer the hiccup was taken care of immediately and we didn't even miss a beat! We are so happy with WRC and their staff and service!

From start to finish, this team not only was super helpful selecting (the right carpet) what seems to be a difficult decision, but also met a very tight time window when we needed the project done. Great communication from all staff. We probably called them a little too much but they all were extremely professional and patient with us. They offer competitive pricing and put you at ease with incredible installers. The installers were very friendly as well and tailored to our needs around doors and hallway/kitchen transitions. Appreciate all your help especially when it was needed the most. Thank you!

VERY disappointed in the quality of installation. Selection, customer service, showroom- all great but both installers (2 rooms, 2 different installs, 2 different installers) BOTH did such bad work that 1. a new transition had to be made to cover the fact that the dude left a huge gap btw the flooring and the doorframe and 2. Toe molding had to run in front of the shower because of the crooked and jagged cut lines. Neither installer cut a straight, flush line! Sorry, I love supporting small business, but we won’t be coming back.

Great experience with a super carpet supplier. From the quote to the sale to the installation, top notch all the way. About the 6th or 7th time we have gone there for carpet and nary a complaint. Staff goes out of their way to make it easyThanks Devon, Chad and the rest of the crew.

We got our carpets replaced by WRC in May. We only have good things to say about our experience! The sales people were so kind and thorough. They showed us lots of options and they really knew their stuff. The man who took the measurements was so friendly and accurate. The gentlemen who installed the carpet were so efficient and did an excellent job! I believe the business is family-owned and run, and they do a great job all-around! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for carpet. We WILL be using WRC when we re-do our basement in the future.

They had a great selection of remnants for great prices. We had Mani and his son Brian install the carpet for us in Augest. Mani and Brian were great. Very professional and a high level of experience.They were also very clean and organized. Mani made some great suggestions that made a very positive difference. They were also super cool, easy going and presented well. I would recommend them over any carpet service in the Grand Rapids area. I will go through them for any future carpet installations. It was an awesome experience for a fist time homeowner renovating his home. These are the guys!

Great product and looks fantastic.Chad was extremely helpful throughout the process. He showed me a number of different carpet samples and flooring samples.Roy installed my flooring and did a tremendous job. Professional, kind and cleaned up after.Manny installed my carpet and also did a tremendous job. Professional, kind and cleaned up after. Honest, fair, and easy with West River Carpets from selection to sale to scheduling to install to making sure I was 100% satisfied. We had 3 rooms of carpet and 2 bathrooms of hard surface flooring installed. We will definitely be returning when it’s time to do more. Thank you, Chad, for a great experience!
