“A big shout out to Godwin Plumbing for coming to the rescue when water started spraying from a connection in my basement. They arrived quickly and arranged for the city to come shut the water off to my house so they could fix the problem. I was very grateful to be able to get the water back on and the leak fixed. Highly recommend! They had previously done some routine repairs at our house and we were very happy with that service as well.”

“I’ve really had the best experience at this store. I’ve visited a half dozen times over the last year. They have a great selection- and the staff is nice and helpful. This last time- a lady helped me- I came in about a half hour before close. I have to drive an hour to get there- and traffic isn’t always kind. She helped me get the right coating_ and introduced me to carbide tools.I appreciate being treated well- and I love my new hobby. No amount of online shopping can replace when you get from visiting a brick and mortar store with knowledgeable staff that love the hobby.Within the first few days - I’ve already sold 2 pens, and the lady wants 3 more. “My sister goes to GVSU and came back from Thanksgiving break at 5pm with a nail in her tire on Sunday. She goes to college almost 3 hours away from home, so we were worried she wouldn’t be able to find any help besides AAA on a Sunday night. Blain’s was open so I called and they fit her in, and even though they couldn’t repair the tire, they put on her spare for her! Within less than an hour she was mobile again until she can buy a new tire. The customer service was absolutely amazing, and they even put her old tire in the trunk for her. I definitely recommend this business for any auto needs!!”

“I only write Google reviews if and when they are deserving. So it was many, many years ago when I began renting equipment from the Grand Rental Station, now True Value Rental on 14 Mile Road. I have rented everything from John Deere tractors to jack hammers from Beth, Marisa and Hannah and have never had a customer service related incident. Believe me, over many years, I have experienced a few equipment breakdowns in the field, and Hannah or Marisa have always been there to immediately remedy the issue.Being 72 years old, I've been around the neighborhood and can tell you this; True Value Rental is one place that remains a pleasure to do repeated, repeated business with. The young ladies and staff technicians are very knowledgeable and probably know more about their equipment than most of us guys do. I highly recommend using their services!!!”
“I went in today to get a new tank of gas. The black guy freaked out and told me to stay outside. When he came out he asked if I was a terrorists because I brought the tank inside to get refilled. He went one to tell me all about how you can’t bring on an empty take because it would explode. I will never get gas there again.. he is so unprofessional”
