Professional, detailed, friendly, responsive. We are very impressed. Every person involved - from the moment we talked in the door to the exit of our installers - absolutely top notch. Quality materials and workmanship. We own three properties and have worked with a variety of companies in the Grand Rapids area. Nobody does it better. Nobody.

We were 100% pleased with all aspects of our purchase from Great Lakes Granite Works. Julie was incredibly upbeat and helpful as we chose our bathroom countertop. She took the time to explore all options in remnants to save us money by not having to purchase an uncut slab. We felt she went above & beyond in her assistance, and was far more thorough than other people we had previously dealt with elsewhere. The man who came out to measure was great, as was Mark and the installation team. All were punctual, polite, friendly, and efficient. You can feel confident in choosing Great Lakes Granite Works, and we plan to recommend them to family & friends, too.

Poor Business Model! Don't bother calling unless you are a builder. They don't stoop to deal with the general public, move on!

Great Lakes Granite are the epitome of professionals in their area. Julie helped us through the selections as well helping us find a stunning remnant of quartzite for our island. We reviewed every option possible to get our kitchen counters, Home Depot, Lowes, as well as others, and settled on this team of people that really care about their clients and their satisfaction. We are beyond happy with the speed and skill of the team that descended on our home like a hive of worker bees, removing our old counters, and installing the new quartz in a matter of 4 hours!!CHEERS to the entire team over at Great Lakes Granite ... GREAT JOB!!

The process to review their inventory is very slow and requires a lot of involvement for the customer. After selecting a piece a wanted a quote for they forgot about my request. Lots of inventory but it was very challenging as a consumer to work with their process.

Way better then signature stone tops. Ask for JR at Great Lakes or Darrene. They are they best and JR is the best fabricator around

Had an excellent experience with GLGW. Marcy and Dawn in the office were accommodating and great to deal with. I would categorize their installer's work as precise, detailed and competent. They premeasured our kitchen way in advance and created templates for the new granite tops. When the day came to install the granite top, it went like clockwork. They also made the backsplash so its thinner than the counter top. Very nice to look at. This may be a minor detail but its important. I thought their price was fair for the quality of the work. One thing noticeable was that they color-matched the adhesive they applied between the backsplash and the counter. Because of the cost of putting Granite (or quartz), we took our time (about 8 mos) selecting a contractor. We shopped at 5 places plus attended the Parade of Homes where we could see the installed work. The parade of Homes is a great way to get ideas and see work of various contractors. IMHO, selecting a contractor to do granite, quartz or any solid surface work cannot be rushed. And price should not be the sole basis. Best advise - ask to look at several of their work. I have seen work of other installers that made me feel really good that I went with GLGW. There are cheaper alternatives out there but as they say "you get what you pay for". I highly recommend them.
