Neat place. Had a great sub sandwich here. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would suggest a few places on waterside to eat.(tables, benches)

growing up we always called in the "channel stop".. and then it was vacant for a few years :(Shorts offers good food and a wide variety of beverages with the convenience of being right on the channel. Docking used to always be a challenge, as there were about 3-4 parallel spots to pull up to; but Shorts has added more docking and have dock attendants on the weekends to assist boaters with coming/going. If you're on the chain, I definitely encourage making Shorts a pitstop on your journeys!!

What happened it’s not as good as it use to be? Lots of staff standing around . Call in to order grinders . Say it will be ready in 20 min. It was more like 45-50 min. And the sub was burnt and no flavor like it use to .

Very crowded and they didn't enforce any guidelines during pandemic. I don't go back for that reason. I've lived on the lakes 37 years and have been going to this store just as long.
