“growing up we always called in the "channel stop".. and then it was vacant for a few years :(Shorts offers good food and a wide variety of beverages with the convenience of being right on the channel. Docking used to always be a challenge, as there were about 3-4 parallel spots to pull up to; but Shorts has added more docking and have dock attendants on the weekends to assist boaters with coming/going. If you're on the chain, I definitely encourage making Shorts a pitstop on your journeys!!”
“Love this place! Definitely a nice establishment.. definitely can’t wait to see how things are during the summer with the Cary Lake crew coming and going.Still is an amazing place! “My favorite gas station the one on wisner is open 24 hours a day for food and most of the time it's the only place you can get food to eat in Jackson after 10:00. Unless you want to go to McDonald's on airport Road and wait an hour in line. For cold food. Not me!”
“Coldwater CVS store is a gem. Always friendly, helpful, and fairly priced. It is stocked full of almost anything you might want or need and you get all kinds of coupons.
The pharmacy is exceptional and has saved me $20 off a standing prescription compared to Meijer. In a years time, that really adds up. That's what brought me to CVS in the first place.... the quest to find affordable medications. Lastly, I'll never forget how kind the pharmacist was as he gently explained saftey measures, how to apply, and what to expect from this cancer cream. I found that outstanding.”
“I want to give a huge shoutout to the manager, Justice! My brother, who is homeless and struggles with mental health challenges, had left his phone behind. When I called, she kindly answered, reassured me that the phone was safe, and let me know it was there. I was so anxious—especially since he was in the middle of an episode and not having his phone made things even scarier.
I told her I’d come pick it up, though it would take me about 45 minutes. By the time I arrived, my brother had actually come back, and Justice immediately asked him if he was missing a phone and bag. She even told him I was on my way and warmly invited him to wait there until I arrived.
Her kindness, patience, and understanding made my brother feel safe and comfortable during a very vulnerable moment. We need more people like her in this world, and I’ll forever be grateful for the way she went above and beyond! ?”

“i use walgreens for all of my prescription fills plus they carry the workout supplements i like...however, the reason why im a customer of walgreens is bc one of the pharm techs Airyenn She is outstanding. She always knows what i need to go with certain rx i take, seems to really know where things are behind the counter with Airyenn im back on the street in no time and i cant tell you how much i appreciate that..Shes always great with other customers....a pharm tech with the skill and personality of Airyenn should be gold to walgreens .. whatever walgreens pays her its not enough”

“Love the updated paint job! I was there wondering around looking for a 12 pack of Coors and couldn't find it. Guy behind the counter noticed and asked if I needed help. Told him and he showed me the beer cave! Don't know when you updated it. I've been to the store here and there for the past 35 years, but I like it.”
