This is the only place I’ll buy my clay from. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very caring. I’ve come to think of them as friends over the years, and I look forward to my visits there. The clays are made in-house, and they’re amazing. They have every tool you could ever think of, plus a huge variety of glazes and underglazes, pottery forms, kiln furniture, banding wheels, pottery wheels, and kilns. If they don’t have it, just ask—they’ll track it down for you.

I'm not even a Potter and I think this place is terrific. I'm a glass fuser and I could not find any resource for a kiln shelf for my lfusing kiln. Someone told me, a potter, that Runyon's would have my kiln shelves. And they did. The gentlemen I worked with at the desk were friendly, knowledgeable with warm personalities. I felt like I had shopped there a hundred times rather than this being my first encounter. We drove from Lansing and it was well worth the drive.

What's not to love? Clay tools, glazes, kilns, clay and more! If you are a potter and need supplies, this is a one stop shop. If i had a pile of cash, i would spend it here.

I have been going to Runyan for over 10 years now. Every. Single. Time. I receive excellent customer service and can get something that I need. . I have a little over an hour drive and never regret having made the trip. I highly recommend shopping here.
