My car broke down while out of town. They worked hard to fit me in while they were busy . They were able have my car repaired by Wednesday so I could be home for Thanksgiving. Which was fallowing day

Took my truck in for noise in the rear differential. Thought it was something bad. Super honest people just needed posi additive. Will be back.

They replaced a trans in my 98 chev van like 14 yrs ago. We drove that van at least another 80K before we sold it, 10yrs later. Never had an issue. Did excellent work. Have taken other family vehicles to have transmission checked and they were always honest. Gave us confidence and we have referred them several times. We also have a 99 chevy Tahoe that they test drove and told us it goes into Limp mode (kinda hiccups) occasionally and that limp mode is actually protecting the trans. Gave us a reasonable quote if we chose to rebuild trans....or we could keep driving it until it gave out....that disgnosis was like 10yrs ago and we still drive and maintain that Tahoe. We probably have put another 100K on it since that diagnosis. Tahoe now has 287K miles on it and still occasionally goes in to Limp mode. Phil gave an honest diagnosis and didn't try to take our money. We trust his experienced opinion with any of our vehicles. We go out of our way to get his diagnosis if we have an issue with any of our family's vehicles...referred him again this week. That's why I went to this review. Had to promote good service. Especially after a few negative reviews from impatient people. If ya want something done well, it's a good thing the business is busy. No one likes to wait, but it's worth the wait for quality repairs. Thanks Phil for your excellent service. We live about 35minutes away, so it's time consuming to drive to, but worth it.

This place is a joke. They have had my truck for almost a month. They have told me over and over it will be done in the next couple days. It will be done the next day. The part hasn’t come back. The programmer is coming today. Nope. They are total liars. Do not take your vehicle to them. They are useless and undepndableService: Transmission

Have used Phils a few times with great results. The most recent encounter is the one I wanted to comment about. I have a large box truck used for our business. The transmission went out while up near Phil's. I gave him a call and he said it wouldnt be able to fit in his bay. Most individuals i have encountered would leave the conversation at that and hang up. Phil didnt, he took time out of his day to talk to me about benefits of rebuilt Vs. Reman. He also gave me a few reccomendations on several aspecats of a transmission swap. While he wasnt able to get this one done (again, due to the height restrictions of his shop) he basically took care of me as if i was a paying customer. 10 out of 10 would reccomend going to Phil's if in need of a transmission.

I don't recomend this buisness they have had my grandsons 94 Suburban three times and every time they have had it they have had to order something throttle bracket a detentcable after they rebuilt the transmission now it's back in the shop something to do with the torque converter.

I had phils rebuild my 4l60e transmission on my yukon and after just 20,000 miles on it its bad again and they refuse to fix it and I paid them over 2,000!!!!

Phil’s Transmission service has gone done hill since the owner retired. I used to go there for service but no longer. Every aspect of the service has declined. Poor turn around time too.

Jennifer is inconsiderate and does a poor job at managing the office. Why she is employed at Phils Transmissions is beyond me. Jennifer made an appointment for me to get service at 8:00 am. She knew I was going to stay while my car was getting service too. She didn’t show up for work until after 9:00. No one in the shop could start working on my car until they got the paperwork from Jennifer. I left before she strolled into work. The guys in the shop said they never know what time she comes into work and the sign on the door says the hours are 8 to 5. Because of Jennifer, Phil’s Transmissions lost local business.Service: Transmission
