I had my daughters graduation party at the Clinton Inn and they did a wonderful job! The room was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious, the staff was kind and helpful, and Jennifer was great to work with. She always answered all my question and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it.

3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 because of good service: We were greeted warmly by the staff, and received excellent service from a team of three servers. The fruit salad was cut fresh and was very tasty. I'd like to offer a few suggestions as a customer, and former maître d' to make a good restaurant even better. First, the skillet breakfasts were made fresh, which was appreciated. There were far too many potatoes in both the brisket and vegetable skillets. In particular when one is preparing a vegetarian omelet or skillet, it is important to have less potatoes and many more vegetables. The vegetables in the skillet were fresh, but scant. Second, I recommend using another cheese (American, Swiss, Cheddar, or Havarti). In my view, Feta cheese does not go as well (unless one is ordering a Greek skillet or omelet). Third, the staff did turn the music down when requested, which was appreciated. Please keep the music at a lower volume so that diners can hear each others easily. You have such a nice, warm atmosphere that encourages good conversations. A lot of restaurant owners don't realize business can be lost by having music that is too loud (unless they are going to a bar or nightclub where loud music is expectable). Fourth, please don't put fruit that requires peeling in a fruit salad/fruit cup. As with any suggestions, I hope the management will take what is helpful in this review, and leave the rest.

We had an amazing family dinner at The Clinton Inn. My friend and I thought their cauliflower lentil tacos were fantastic. The kids raved about the firehouse burgers and my oldest son got the fish and chips special which he enjoyed. It’s nice to have a place in town with reasonable prices and a small town atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Haunted house was not scary at all! Not worth the $ I should have known when I heard nobody going through screaming. Least scary haunted house I’ve ever been toUpdate: owner appears to be unprofessional. Just as his attempt to put on a “haunted” house is.

Had a wonderful Sunday Brunch. Menu was creative with a fairly broad selection.

Very dissatisfied compared to other times. We arrived, a group of 3, and were seated right away. Drinks came quick too, just 3 waters, a coffee, and a bloody mary, However, our waitress never came back to take our food order even though she walked by our table a few times. After that we never saw her again so after waiting for a half hour, one of us asked someone else if we could get the bill for our drinks. She said she would go get our waitress to which she came back and explained that she was in the back talking with her manager. I would think that something like that would take place after a shift and that the manager would’ve had someone else cover for her so that we wouldn’t have had to wait so long just to place an order. The overall atmosphere was not to be desired. It was giving party city. Our table was a 6 foot long plastic folding table with no table cloth. We’ve had better meals and service here, today was just a disaster.

I absolutely love your perspective and responses to the negative guest reviews. These people have nothing better to do with thier lives and will honestly never be satisfied anywhere. They enjoy the opportunity to take away from any business and probably don't tip. P.s I've been in and loved the waffles...

My wife and I visited on 9/24/22 at 9:15am. The Clinton Fall Festival was going on, so it was busy in town, but it was not super busy at the Clinton Inn yet. There was a lot of employees there this morning, and we'll get back to that in a bit. The day we were there, the waffle iron went down, kinda a bummer there. Interior decor is really unique, and cool.I ordered avocado toast. It was okay, but I had two pieces of avocado on it that were so hard that I couldn't eat them. The eggs were cooked excellent. I do wish the bread was more crisp on the bottom but oh well. Overall, it was nothing amazing but it wasn't bad. I also had black coffee, which was good.My wife ordered French Toast, and it came with bacon. Her meal was pretty good overall. Thick toast and thick bacon which was really good. She also ordered a caramel latte (a few minutes after I ordered my coffee). So, about her latte. It took a very long time to get it, and I understand they were getting busier and busier, but we had to check with two different people who weren't our server, because our server hadn't really checked in on us for quite a long time (she did seem really busy). But it was weird with so many employees hanging around where we were sitting (behind us near the back). So it took quite a while overall. It didn't take terribly long to get the food. Overall it was decent, marred by service that couldn't have been somewhat better. Though, I want to reiterate that it was getting busier and busier with Fall Festival people coming in. So maybe it was not a typical representation. She was also friendly, as were the rest of the staff. Overall, would return.

I really can't get enough of their waffles. Their breakfast sausage is delicious; way better than the average place. I like to come here for brunch on the weekends. Friendly staff and a neat old building.
