I went to the car wash to wash my car, an immaculate 2006 BMW 750 LI , on Friday, December 15 at around 4 PM . I've been here many times before since I have a membership. On 12/15/23 I met Oscar, an attendant, before I went through the car wash. There was a long line of cars going through. He made sure I was going to get the special wash I'm supposed to get, Fire and Ice. I waited for my turn and went through and at the very beginning at the tire wash, roller brush area, I could hear scraping noises going on. After the car wash, I pulled to the side to dry my car off since lately it hasn't been drying the water off. That's when I noticed the rocker panels on both sides of my car were scraped up, equally on both sides. I went inside and saw Oscar and his supervisor Ron and told them about it. Ron came out took pictures. He asked me where I thought it happened. Again, I told him I thought it happened at the spot where it cleans your tires, the rollers, near the beginning and that I could hear a scraping. I also had a problem 2 weeks prior with the machine scraping up my rims. We went back inside and he filled out a report. He then started off saying we don't cover damage to cars over seven years old, and I said mine is in perfect condition. I take great care of my BMW, it's in immaculate condition. He said that doesn't matter. It's over seven years old you're not gonna like it, I said I take great care of that car and again it is in immaculate condition, you guys should cover it. I bring it in to be washed all the time. Then he said he would call me back on Sunday, he had to talk to his boss to see about covering it. He never did call back Sunday. Update:when they left a message Oscar said he reviewed pictures and says I had prior damage, which is false. I took my car to B&B Collision in Royal Oak for an estimate. The repair estimate I got is for $839.96 I expect them to pay.

Went to get my car washed at Paul's today and was disappointed in the service. They have two employees working to prep your car before it goes through the wash. Instead of hitting the areas they know don't get washed well (tailgates), they just half heartedly spray the car off and the guy with the brush did single swipe of my tailgate but only across half the vehicle as it was rolling into the wash. Lazy, lazy, lazy! It's no ce to get home and have to clean my tailgate myself. Hope the owners know that people talk about that kind of service and with a better wash just around the corner, I won't be back.

Not a great wash. You pay for a $12 or $17 dollar wash and tire shine and get a short feature wash. This has happened more than once.

You would be better served to just pull out the garden hose and spray your car. I paid for the cheapest wash they had, $9. Maybe that was my mistake, but I didn't feel like spending $17 for one of their premium washes. My car wasn't that dirty. You pull up, the young gentlemen standing there spray your car with a hose and then send you on your way. I knew as I was going through the wash that absolutely no soap was being dripped onto my car. The water pressure was low and since there wasn't any soap on my car, nothing was getting cleaned. I was left with a spotty, and still dirty, car. Absolute waste of money. I'm not gonna cry over nine bucks; I'm just never going to return. Plenty of car washes in the area. Spend your money elsewhere.

I went to this car wash for years. Something mechanically was then changed in their machinery where on 3 consecutive washes I heard their machinery hit my rim on my car and damage the finish on my rim. I contacted management and they told me tough luck and that they did not want me as a customer any longer when I complained. Horrible management and customer service!

Only came to get bug guts off of my car after some hwy driving. Paid for thr deluxe which specifically mentions BUGS and this is how my car front looks after spending $12. It looks like it wasnt even touched.

I should've stayed away from the start. For that, I blame myself. I've learned my lesson the hard way. Customers aren't heard nor attended to when an issue arises. However, people should decide for themselves. My personal experience wasn't positive. I'll leave it at that.

Paid $12 for a car wash and my car was still filthy when I left, and I now have tons of scratches all over my hood and the top of my doors. Worst car wash I've ever been to.

The whole back of my car want cleaned and you have to pay extra for a machine drying of your car. Terrible value for a car wash that doesnt clean or dry your car. Should rename their business by taking the wash out of their name somas to not falsely advertise. Dont waste your $9

This place is a mess. I live across the street in clawson and have been a loyal member for years. As we have multiple cars we would pay for a membership for each and keep the RFID sticker on a card to scan (to avoid putting this ugly blue sticker in the middle of our windshield..). 1) original manager said no issue at all 2) next time I lost my card and asked for a new sticker manager sean said it needed to be on window but would make an exception since I'm paying for multiple memberships. 3) one month later I had lost the card and asked for a replacement and again was told it needed to go on on the window and they were okay with me canceling. so much back and forth over a sticker... and they ultimately ended up losing 2 memberships over it. Sean... bad business over a sticker policy lol.. Also the wash quality was deteriorated over the last few years, half the time the car comes out still dirty around the Mirrors. not worth the price... and definitely not worth the hassle over a sticker location policy. my neighbor recently cancelled as well when he got a new car due to having to put this blue sticker in the window. jax on 15 mile is much more accommodating. save your time and money.

I am not sure what all the hate on Paul's is about. I have been coming here for years and did not have any issues. I wouldn't say it is the best car wash, but it does its purpose. I have an older car, so I don't come thru a lot. I do come thru more in the winter because of all the salt that gets all over the vehicle. It is reasonably priced. I saw someone complain about not having people towel off their vehicle, but today's market is hard to find people, so I get it. It would be nice to have it toweled dry, but the blower does an excellent job of getting it dry.

Easy and reasonable monthly membership to get car cleaned. Because everything is getting expensive, the price has been increased from $15.99 to $17.99, but that's understandable and still a very good deal!

I just paid $9.00 for a drive thru auto wash and it wasn't even towel dried. Windows and mirrors were still dirty as other areas of the car. I won't be back.....
