I loved the product- terrible customer service. I could have ordered online for less but decided to purchase from a local small business. I won’t be using Fairway tile and carpet again.

Decided to use a local small business for our new kitchen flooring. We knew pretty well what we were looking for, made our selections, and got an estimate done fairly quickly. It took many follow ups to schedule the job which was a little frustrating, but once we got our tile installed we were mostly satisfied. Unfortunately, less than six months later, the grout in our new kitchen tile floor started cracking and crumbling in many spots. We followed up with Fairway to see if they could do anything but were ignored and from our previous experience with them, it honestly doesn't seem worth the persistent follow up. Very disappointing to have paid for high quality porcelain tile floor for the durability (we have small kids and a dog), and a year in it is completely falling apart and looks terrible. My husband is going to have to attempt to repair it if we can ever find the time.

I'll start by saying I love the carpet I selected and my service experience was good (while I was in the active buying process). I think it's important to note that their installation costs are low for a reason. There's one installer who comes out to your home, so expect days of work (we had 3 for 1,000 sq. ft). Once the install was complete, I noted some seams that were very noticeable in several rooms. I was told it will look better in a few months after we'd had some foot traffic...but it didn't, particularly where the carpet didn't line up correctly. So I called. And called. And two months later the owner came out to look at the "issue." He agreed it needed to be fixed and said they would come out in a few weeks. A few weeks went by and I called again. And again. And again. Always being told I'm "next on the list" or "soon." After 3 months, I finally had my husband call. Yep, had to play the angry man card because I was being ignored. A week later, the installer came out to "fix it" and was upset to learn his boss had been out to review his work. Oh, and he refused to wear a mask. So do you homework and remember you get what you pay for at Fairway! And if you select them, pray you don't need to come out for any fixes! Because it will take at least 6 months or longer.

Great experience with Fairway. They were very helpful when making my selection. The team member who did a runner on my staircase was very detailed and the work was excellent. Would highly recommend Fairway and I will be going back for future projects.

I am leaving this review based upon a service I NEVER received. I walked into the showroom several weeks ago. April 27th to be exact. I knew exactly what I wanted and told John. He quickly sent someone out to our home the following Tuesday. A week later I had to call to get an update on the estimate. I was told he would be looking over our project next. A few more days had passed. I reached out AGAIN to get an update. John told me a price, I agreed. I asked what the next step was. He told me it would take 7-10 days for the tile to arrive and at that time he would call me and we could schedule the install. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave it an extra few weeks. It is now June 3rd and I finally called this morning to get an update. SHOCKER, there is none. I was told they would look at my file and call me back. I called AGAIN, and now the tile company does not know where the tile is.I received a call back and the tile is "in port" and it could be another two weeks. B******** it was never ordered. I am beyond disappointed in this company. I tried to support a small business and THIS is why small businesses are falling to big box stores. John was not apologetic and did not care to lose the business.

Superb products, superb installation, superb service.
We remodeled the kitchen in our 60 year old home and used Fairway for our tile shop. We looked at a number of tile stores from big box to small mom and pop's. Fairway proved the best.
The tile itself is gorgeous, and its quality excels. Our tile is porcelain with a wood design, it comes in narrow pieces which are three feet long.
Our 60 year old floor, unfortunately, was not as flat as we had all thought, and the installer (a superb contractor himself} went the extra mile to make sure the install went as smoothly as possible. There were some issues as the thin-set settled, and a few tiles popped up. Phil, our technician came in and easily, and without question, replaced the tiles.
I would recommend Fairway to anybody, and I would advise anybody interested in tile have them come in and asses the job before hand. Had I done this, the install would have gone flawlessly I'm sure.
